Lol! No. I wish I had a house with a backyard again. Did for about a year when I was married and living in Upstate New York. That was my only experience with growing things. I recall the cucumber tasting as sweet as watermelon! Fresh lettuce was terrific. Those were the only two things I attempted to grow. Well, that and, er, corn. If you can call that stuff I grew “corn”. Something went wrong with it, disease or something, and it was severely misshaped and weird looking. I didn’t even try eating it.
I love corn, but don’t grow much of it, because the doctor has restricted my carb intake. When I was a kid, my parents had a café. One day they had corn on the cobb for a veggie choice - ears cut in half like Long John Silver does.
Anyway, I ate 13 of those and wanted more. Dad wouldn’t let me - said I’d get sick.
I grow lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, peppers, and lemons indoors in the winter time in 6-10 inch pots.
