Happens in the sticks, too.
One government worker, found a birth certificate for some poor child named Frozen Stupid.

Dad might have a chance of getting full custody. Might take a fair amount of DNA testing to establish that.

Worked with one that explained one day how she named her daughter. She liked Dawn “the dish soap”. She tagged the mandatory isha on the end and there you have it Dawnisha. Dawnisha must be a great grandmother by now a few times over as she would be about 40?

What part of the evolutionary tree did she fall from? It wasn’t from my branch. Musta been the ugly tree, and she didn’t miss many branches on the way down.

Haven’t a clue. Is that a male or female name? Most of my business clients are doctors and we are confronted with more patients whose names are impossible to spell correctly as well as more difficult to pronounce. Always say “spell please” to most callers if their name is important. The Houston area has become quite multi-cultural plus parents think the spelling of their child’s name must be totally different from what we oldsters would normally use.
Teachers are having a total nightmare with the current spellings of common names.

Remind me of the story about the Indian (native American) named Two-Dogs.

Three years ago, had a black gal (about 30yrs old) come into one of the shops I own....since we personalize items, I asked her name.
BTW, I always ask anyone black to spell their name because besides choosing unusual names, many times they also choose unique spellings, even for traditional names.....
Her name was: L-A
Everyone take a shot at how to pronounce it!
If no-one wins, I'll post the “correct” pronunciation....
