I lived and worked in the Middle East for several years. I know of which I speak. I do not wish to dominate nor control the Middle East. I also understand that classic Koranic beliefs are not compatible with our western civilizations concepts of freedom.

While living in the Middle East I also saw many admirable things in their society. I also saw things that far outweighed the admirable qualities. When I walked down the street it is horrific to realize that 9 out of 10 women had been subjected to genital mutilation. The percentages varied by country to country but it was very prevalent. Just google gentile mutilation by country and you can see the horror. A woman under classic Koranic code is but a chattel, just like a sheep.

If "Islamaphobia" is really a "phobia" or irrational fear, then how does one justify not tolerating it? I mean suppose there are people in London with a phobia for stuffed bunnies. Is there something the mayor might do to stop it? Mandatory shock therapy to overcome the phobia?

Let's put the B.S. aside. Islam is a totalitarian ideology that is incompatible with freedom. Fear of facing the truth and protecting the innocent from Islamic aggression for fear of offending Muslims is the only irrational fear that needs to be overcome here.
