Comey now claims he deleted his original memos, and the professor he gave a copy to is in hiding. Totally normal.

Comey is so stupid he included an unnecessary detail just to spice up the story without even bothering to create evidence to verify it.

Excessive detail is often a tell that someone is lying. They know what they are saying is a lie, and by embellishing their story with detail they think they make it more "real" and convincing.

Memo or not, Comey's reason for memorializing the conversation was some variation of "don't trust Trump." This is a common theme. Comey also did not trust Jeff Sessions, which is why Comey and his insiders club (Andrew McCabe, Jim Rybicki, James Baker) withheld information from him.

This play is a like Cain Mutiny in reverse. Still a mutiny, and the mutineers go out of their way to torpedo the captain, but in this case the captain is sane and the mutineers are the ones talking about strawberries.

Also a “tell” for a liar is when they tell you how honest they are...tge minute somebody tells me they’re honest I know they’re lying through their teeth to me.

Unbelievable. This whole thing is so Tom Clancy, from 2007 onward, from Obama onward. You can’t put it down. I’m addicted. This all will have to be made into a movie series.

Some names may have to be changed to protect.. etc.

for example:

The DOJ would be Dept. of Injustice

The VA would be Dept. of Veterans Abuse

The Dept of Education would be Dept of Re-Education

and The FBI would be Federal Bureau of Matters

-- Was Comey's prehearing written "opening statement" admitted into testimony in such a way as to make it under oath? --

Opinions will differ on that. The inquisitors took it as part of the hearing record, but there was no dirrect affirmation by Comey, in any form, that he swore the statement was true.

Separately, reviewing the hearing transcript, Comey swore under oath:

LANKFORD: Let me -- let me walk through a couple things with you. Your notes were obviously exceptionally important, because they give a very rapid account of what you -- what you wrote down and what you perceived to happen in those different meetings.

Have you had the opportunity to be able to reference those notes when you were preparing the written statement that you put -- for us today?

COMEY: Yes, I -- yes. I think nearly all of my written recordings of my conversations -- had a chance to review them before filing my statement.

LANKFORD: Do you have a copy of any those notes, personally?

COMEY: I don't. I turned them over to Bob Mueller's investigators.

LANKFORD: The individual that you told about your memos, that then sent on to the New York Times -- do they have a copy of those memos, or were they told orally of those memos?

COMEY: Had a copy -- had a copy at the time.

Comey and Mueller are in cahoots.

People always say that but for me when I say “to be perfectly frank/honest”, I have decided to part with the unpleasant truth that I have been holding back not to hurt someone’s feelings.

It sounds like a premeditated decision to manufacture evidence on the spot - the modern equivalent of a drop gun or of planting drugs on a suspect.

That is exactly what it is. Comey is the lead of a conspiracy to impeach Trump. What they were angling for is to get him to interfere in the "investigation" of Flynn and the Russians. President Trump never took the bait. We know this for a fact, because the conspirators would have used it if it existed.

The plot came apart when President Trump fired Comey. They plotters were close, but weren't ready yet. When Comey was fired, it stopped their plot dead for a while. Everything since that event by the #ImpeachTrump crowd is an improvisation, and they decided to use Trump's firing of Comey as the actual "interference with the investigation." That's all they have left.

Comey's memo never existed before he was fired. It was an improvisation after the fact to manufacture evidence. This is the reason it does not exist on Comey's computers at the FBI, or in any law enforcement custody for evidence, or even the DOJ. It only became necessary when they had to improvise a new narrative, but by then Comey had lost access to the FBI computers and his office.

As a supervisor before I retired, it was SOP to document all ‘talks’ I had with the people that worked under me. All documentation included date and time as well as any witnesses present. Anything that was extremely important was always witnessed. Just because a person writes something down doesn’t make it true without witnesses or recordings.

I tell you, it is perfectly normal to impeach an elected president based upon a document that no one has actually seen, has no evidentiary chain of custody, and describes actions which are not crimes.

No it is not! It only normal if the Russians were involved in some way shape or form ...

The dims are out of their mind...Trump Derangement Syndrome in Extremest.

I think its a 5250 code to restrain an individual that can cause harm to themselves or other people.

What's the code for putting the nation at risk...?

Section 5250 is a section of the California Welfare and Institutions Code (specifically, the Lanterman–Petris–Short Act or "LPS") which allows a qualified officer or clinician to involuntarily confine a person deemed to have certain mental disorders for up to 14 days, following being involuntarily held for 72 hours

Even if they have been deleted, they are still recoverable from the computer on which they had been created and stored. Unless Comey and his accomplice “wiped” the hard drive with Bleach Bit or some other utility.

I'm told Comey did not keep his memos on FBI systems as he testified, he dictated to a deputy at FBI so they wouldnt be in his office" Jack Posobiec

Comey's written statement to the Senate Intelligence Committee, which is given under oath, stated:

"I felt compelled to document my first conversation with the President-Elect in a memo. To ensure accuracy, I began to type it on a laptop in an FBI vehicle outside Trump Tower the moment I walked out of the meeting. Creating written records immediately after one-on-one conversations with Mr. Trump was my practice from that point forward. "

Were you lying then, or are you lying now, Mr. Comey?

Destroying govt records is a crime. And destroying evidence that you believe could be evidence is a bigger crime.

True on both counts.

18 U.S.C. § 641 - 1663. Protection Of Government Property -- Protection Of Public Records And Documents

Any custodian of a public record who "willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, falsifies, or destroys (any record) shall be fined not more than $2,000 or imprisoned not more than three years, or both; and shall forfeit his office and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States." While the range of acts proscribed by this subsection is somewhat narrower than subsection (a), it does provide the additional penalty of forfeiture of position with the United States.

___________________________________________________________________________

18 U.S. Code § 1519 - Destruction, alteration, or falsification of records in Federal investigations and bankruptcy

Whoever knowingly alters, destroys, mutilates, conceals, covers up, falsifies, or makes a false entry in any record, document, or tangible object with the intent to impede, obstruct, or influence the investigation or proper administration of any matter within the jurisdiction of any department or agency of the United States or any case filed under title 11, or in relation to or contemplation of any such matter or case, shall be fined under this title, imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both.

Comey's defense will be that the memos were "private" and not established as government records. Further, he will claim that even though he admitted leaking said memos to trigger a Special Counsel or a Special Prosecutor to go after President Trump, there was no violation of the law (then or now) and therefore he was not tampering with evidence. He simply wanted the Special Counsel to "look into things."

If your story is true, Comey has implicated McCabe, Rybicki, and Baker too. Maybe others.
