Shareholders in a zoo near Shanghai, frustrated that they weren't making a profit on their investment, fed a live donkey to zoo tigers as a form of protest.
Video of the scene shows the donkey pushed down a makeshift ramp into the water surrounding the tiger habitat, where it is promptly pounced upon. Tigers bite and claw the donkey as it bleeds and struggles in the water. The footage has prompted protest and outrage in China.
In a statement, shareholders who invested in Yancheng Safari Park say they held a meeting and voted in favor of feeding the live donkey to the tigers to express their frustration.

Its not because of the fear, its the live bruising of the meat. South Korea prepared dog in that manner back when I was there.
You are so correct. I remember the animals of Asia in my daily prayers. Their suffering is beyond comprehension.
Don’t even consider videos of what they do to dogs and cats in China before eating them. This is nothing.
Cambodia. Thailand. China. South Korea. Some of Vietnam. All cruel to dogs. I never feel badly when human tragedies occur in those countries. Oh well.
Since I have never elevated animals to be equal to humans in my thinking, I do feel bad for them.

Please, gimme a friggin break. That tiger in the wild would kill many animals, just like the donkey, that’s what they do. For you and everyone else here who equate animal life to human life(innocent), maybe you should find a safe place. Animals have been eating other animals since forever, that’s what they do. A tigers bite on the neck is an almost instant kill. Have you never baited a hook with a worm or a minnow, squashed a bug or spider. Another posting snowflake said they burst into tears when they read the story. Y’all are beyond help as far as I see it. One animal dies, the other one lives, an everyday cycle, been that way forever.
Hello genius, this took place where the animals were caged and not in the wild. These animals were in the complete control of evil humans. Wake up, you are on the WRONG side of this debate.
What difference does it make how the tiger was fed? So it is ok if the human kills it first and then feeds it to the tiger? What is so special about that and what would be the preferred way of going about doing it? If it was a couple of chickens would just chop their heads off first? Shoot the donkey and the tiger gets lead poisoning from ingesting the bullet? Maybe they should have been Halal killed by just slitting the donkeys throat. Like I said, a bunch of snowflakes, maybe you should find your safe place.
