Scientists have created an artificial intelligence (AI) program that can accurately predict a persons lifespan just by looking at images of their organs.

Are these postmortem images of the organs?

LOL!..............Then the AI would have an accuracy of 100%!...............

OK now put some of the lard-asses on a treadmill and see if the prediction goes up.

Most people could probably just look at somebody and make an equally accurate prediction.
It’s not rocket surgery.

Only 48 patients and 69% accuracy? It is a scientific coin toss..?

50% is a random guess, so 19% above that is crap. AI diagnostics isn’t considered useful until it reaches 93% sensitivity.

The problem is getting otherwise healthy people to show you their organs................

I sent them a picture of my organ. They said the program flashed an “End of Life” message and there was a laughing sound.

It’s not predicting. It’s using statistics and probability. And it’s not AI. The intelligence is that of the programming team.

You know you’re in trouble when you ask how much longer you have . . . and the technician looks at her watch before answering.
