NOTE: The writers are the parents of Seth Rich, who was killed in the District in 2016.
Imagine living in a nightmare that you can never wake up from. Imagine having to face every single day knowing that your son was murdered. Imagine you have no answers that no one has been brought to justice and there are few clues leading to the killer or killers. Imagine that every single day, with every phone call you hope that its the police, calling to tell you that there has been a break in the case.
Imagine that instead, every call that comes in is a reporter asking what you think of a series of lies or conspiracies about the death. That nightmare is what our family goes through every day.
Our beloved son Seth Rich was gunned down in the early hours of July 10, 2016, in his Washington, D.C., neighborhood of Bloomingdale. On the day he was murdered, Seth was excited about a new job he had been offered on Hillary Clintons presidential campaign.
Seth had dedicated his life to public service, and he told us that he wanted to work on the campaigns effort to expand voter participation because he loved our country dearly and believed deeply in the promise of democratic engagement. Seth had been walking around, calling friends, family and his girlfriend, pondering the broader picture of what the job change would mean. He wondered how he would pick up and move to New York City for four months, the strain that might put on his relationships, and how it would all affect the life he had built for himself in Washington.
The circumstances of what happened next are still unclear.

“I wonder why they hired an investigator if they dont want the truth known?”
My thoughts exactly....this doesn’t add up.
Imagine, if you will, an investigation of a murder, where the investigators don’t interview the last persons to see the victim alive and don’t seek surveillance tapes from the many locations with cameras on the street where the murder occurred.
Imagine...
It wasn’t a robbery and it wasn’t botched.
Wrong, an assasination is two to the dome. Two to the back is amateur hour assasination
These parents are sick.
It’s a free country, the parents do not have the right to silence the search for truth as hard as it is for them.
Their Democrat liaison person writes well.
It’s so interesting that healthy people doing the right thing are the majority of those dying under mysterious circumstances. A huge coincidence, I think.
A random robbery?
You make a good point about they often catch these cr Minsk’s. They are morons and they talk. That’s how they get caught.
Seth’s wallet was not taken. A gold chain he was wearing was not taken. He was shot twice in the back.
There’s s a two hour gap between when he left Lou’s bar (the owner of which had visited the White House four days earlier) and he was found laying in the street shot. Police report says he didn’t know he was shot.
He arrived at hospital in stable condition. Died about 90 minutes later.
Police report says officers had body cams. Where is the footage?
Kim Dot Com posted six or seven nearby cameras D.C. Has installed. We have never seen any footage.
Why would the family not want max attention focused on Seth, regardless of the source?
#### em then.
What do the stats say?
A lot of botched robberies than turn into murder in this area?
I live in NYC and if you told me it happened in the 200s in Harlem i’d say yeah possibly.
If it happened along Hylan Blvd in Staten Island I’d say there’s almost a statistical chance of zero.
That would help. But I dont know the area where he died.
What if his murder was political?
Wouldn’t you want to know that?
Regardless of whether you want to know or not, others do.
This is not just about your son.
If it bothers you so much, don’t talk to reporters.
Turnabout if fair play :
‘IT`S THE SERIOUSNESS OF THE CHARGE’
This PR move is helping to silence Kimdotcom and Sean Hannity.
Of course, Kimdotcom might really have nothing..but still...use the grieving family to shut up the investigation.
Normal people would change their phone numbers if they were truly sick of the harassment. REALLY normal people would find it curious that the most powerful people in the world are paying so much attention to a story that they believe is false in the first place.
It was a botched assignation that was supposed to look like a robbery.
