The actress said the show is "running out of ideas" because of Trump.
"Trump is trumping us. We're running out of ideas at this point," Wright said. "He's stolen them all."

I watched it the first couple of seasons and then realized I’d seen the plot before in real life just as you described and it was a spoiler.
Later I found out about Spacey’s connection with Jeffrey Epstein. I don’t know if Spacey is a pedophile but I don’t watch people that even hang out with pedophiles.
Hadn’t seen that article. Will give it a read. Thanks for sharing it.
Close, that was Buttermilk.
I’ve enjoyed it but it seems to be petering out at this point. Will watch the new season and see what they have.
Yeah, that was really creepy and hard to watch. Don’t know why they threw in that crap, unless it was suggest that that sort of morality is par for the course for tyrants like Francis.
Robin, just what is it that Donald Trump has done?
Oh I see you are waiting for the writers to give you your script.
Still waiting.........
The other really creepy thing was in the first season where Robin Wright’s character goes to the hospital to see their security guy who has cancer and is dying. He tells her he was in love with her and then she puts her hand under the covers and plays with his penis and says us this what you really wanted and then just leaves. She was and is just cold.
It seemed like the writers tried to create some sympathy for her character, but I view her as just as horrific as Francis.
Ha! Thanks for the correction.
The House of Cards is about twisted dirty people and one of the many ways it comes out is in their sexual proclivities. Which are base.
Buttermilk was Dale Even’s horse.
I wanted Dale and Roy to come out of the TV and take me home to the ranch when I was a young child.
Frank Underwood is horrific because he is an evil sociopath through and through.
Claire Underwood is evil because she is a woman in thrall to the sociopath and continually chooses evil.
Those were such innocent times, eh? Happy Trails to you. :)
One of the many things I wanted to do was visit that museum. That was on the bucket list. Something I never thought about, museums do close.
Roy & Dale were such a big part of my growing up life. Consequently, I always wanted to be a cowgirl and have a horse.
Later, I fulfilled my *dream* when a neighbor was going off to college and her parents encouraged her to try to sell it. I had a huge, fenced pasture behind my house and couldn’t think of a better location opportunity; horse owner agreed to let me *baby-sit* the horse, to see if things worked out.
This ideal in my mind’s eye was riding off into the sunset. Meh. I’d rush home from work every afternoon, breaking speed limits, to make it B4 sunset. Brush down the horse and go off to enjoy a ride.
In the meantime, I was getting serious about buying him; so I called our vet to stop by to *look under the hood*. He knew the horse. He said: *How old did she tell you the horse was?* I said *7 or 8*. He said, [opening the horses’ mouth & showing me the teeth], *He’s 18-19*. I gasped! Then he pointed out that the horse had severe Navicular disease. which would mean I wouldn’t be able to ride him after a while, only would be a pet.
Vet recommended special shoes with lifts; farrier came out and built the special shoes; horse went into a swampy part of the pasture and 3 of the 4 feel off! LOL. Replaced them...*now* it was getting expensive.
After the vet analysis, I called the neighbor & relayed the info I got from the vet; within minutes, they were in my driveway to trailer the horse away.
I barely escaped from a tragedy with that one. Phew! *All that glitters...*
I agree. She can’t just absolve herself by feeling a little bit “bad” about what Francis is doing.
