Wilders explained why he believes the definition of the global threat articulated by President Trump in his historic speech Sunday in Saudi Arabia is off the mark.
Islam is the problem, said Wilders, the leader of the Party for Freedom, now the countrys second largest in Parliament.
We can only deal with [the threat] if we first face the truth, [which] might not be too politically correct, but still is the truth, and that is that Islam and not Islamism or radical Islam, but Islam is an evil ideology like communism or fascism that has no place in a free society, he told WND.
Wilders applauded Trump for frankly recognizing the fight between good and evil engulfing the West, but the Dutchman insisted the evil isnt confined to certain people within the community of Islam.
Its not that we have two different kinds of Islam, he said.
I acknowledge the fact that we have two kinds of people. There are moderate Muslims and non-moderate Muslims. But there is really only one Islam, and this is the Islam of the life of Muhammad, of the Quran, of the Hadiths, of the Sunnah.
Awash in cultural relativism, he said, establishment politicians and academics fool the people by saying that all cultures are equal.
I am not ashamed to say that our culture is far better than the Islamic culture, which is a culture of barbarism, he said. We should be honest and speak about the truth, and this, unfortunately, is the truth.
Wilders argues its impossible for the ideology of Islam to assimilate in a free society.
People can. Ideology cannot.

Ouch. That moiety of truth will leave a mark.
The problem with Islam is the so-called prophet Mohammed, may he be buggered in Hell by Satan.
Wilders is right, however, he’s got to understand that Trump CANNOT SAY THAT nor can any leader who gives such a speech on Muslim soil.
So... why was he there?
Saying that Islamic terror is just the fault of a few bad apples sweeps the fact that Islam constitutively creates those bad apples at rates unseen in any other religion. Like Wilders, President Trump used to openly acknowledge this. It's unfortunate that he took the more PC route by giving his own version of a "religion of peace" while genuflecting to the Saudis.
Islam is a concept. Concepts cannot be killed. Best you can do to adverse-affecting concepts is sequester their effects like a pus-oozing sore and don’t pick the scab.
Even some Muslim heads of state acknowledge that the prevalent interpretations of Islam (especially Saudi Wahhabism) breed fanaticism and that the religion itself needs to be reformed, i.e. Islam and Muslim societies need their own new Enlightenment.
RE: So... why was he there?
We have to understand that Muslims live in a world of psychological disconnect. YOU CANNOT BE A CONSISTENT MUSLIM IF YOU WANT TO LIVE IN THE MODERN WORLD.
Hence, Most try to live in the modern world and do understand that they CANNOT take everything the Koran or the Hadiths say seriously.
Yet, they DO LIVE in a culture and adhere to a religion that tells them to make war on infidels and that their prophet is a man of war, a polygamist and a pedophile.
This is DENIALISM and we, who are non-muslims ought to at least breath a sigh of relief that such denialisms are PREVALENT in the Muslim world.
We understand that most Muslims IGNORE those parts of their faith that are incompatible with living in the modern world.
We also understand that the more seriously a Muslims takes his religion ( i.e. the more NON-DENIALIST and CONSISTENT he tries to become ), the more radical and dangerous he is.
There is also the other factor — A DIVIDED MUSLIM WORLD where Sunni and Shia hate each other. The Sunni Arab leaders (e.g. Al-Sis, the UAE and the King of Saudi Arabia ) are at least making an outward show of support for the western World. The Shia leaders ( the Iranian Ayatollahs ) on the other hand, make no bones about wanting to annihilate Israel ( the little Satan ) and America ( the great satan ).
Given the above realities Trump understands that :
1) He needs the help of denialists since fighting the radicals will require their help.
2) Most Muslims still value life over death.
3) He needs to DIVIDE the enemy and pit what he perceives to be the more acceptable version of the Muslim world with the less acceptable version.
HOORAY Geert Wilders
“Why is he there?”
**To reach certain short term goals that will have far reaching benefits.
**To form business deals with the Saudis. Over $300. Billion
**To present a low pressure opportunity for the Saudi’s to show some form of willingness to work with Israel, Egypt and the USA against enemies in common such as Iran and North Korea.
**To encourage the Saudi’s to take Trump’s request that it should mainly be Muslim countries who go after and destroy ISIS. Otherwise, America remains mired in Afghanistan-like quagmires, with the citizens of those countries hating us, and not terribly concerned with fighting against the Taliban or latest form of ISIS.
The psychological term I was looking for is COGNITIVE DISSONANCE.
In psychology, cognitive dissonance is the mental discomfort (psychological stress) experienced by a person who simultaneously holds two or more contradictory beliefs, ideas, or values. The occurrence of cognitive dissonance is consequence of a person’s performing an action that contradicts personal beliefs, ideals, and values; and also occurs when confronted with new information that contradicts said beliefs, ideals, and values.
This mental discomfort is PREVALENT in the Muslim world.
And yet the overwhelming majority of terrorist acts committed against Americans and Europeans are the work of radical Sunnis (Al Quaeda, ISIS, and various lone cells who pledge loyalty to them), not Shias. These radical Sunnis have the moral and financial support of Saudi clerics, who in turn get their money and power from "pro-Western" Saudi Royals. I wouldn't put the Saudis, whose state is even more Islamist and theocratic than Iran's, in the same category of moderation as Egypt, Jordan, etc.
Don’t know if I agree. Look at pictures of Iran, Afghanistan, and other ME countries in the 1950s and you couldn’t tell they are Islamic. We need to figure out what happened since then.
The first Muslim mosque in north America was in Ross ND. Most people don’t know that because those Muslims assimilated, they didn’t blow others up.
Telling it like it is.
It's also known as compartmentalization. A nuclear engineer friend of mine worked with a very devout Muslim who was by all accounts a competent atomic physicist (from Pakistan, I think). In his daily work, my friend's Muslim colleague solved equations and ran computer simulations just like any normal scientist, but if you discussed the underpinnings of the subatomic particles he studied, he'd tell you that matter and energy were really magic spirits ("Djinns").
Obviously this guy had one compartment of his brain for science and another compartment for his religion, and when they intersected he said/thought some very strange things.
If you have a rat problem, you eradicate the NEST from which they emanate. Islam IS the nest. If you want peace and no more terrorism, Islam MUST be eradicated. That is all-nothing less.
Wilders is right.
Islam can not be reformed unless it’s founder is renounced.
Islam is the problem.
There is no moderate koran, there can be no moderate Islam without redacting large parts of it and that is a death sentence to those who try.
It has always been a religion of conquest and slavery, murder and mayhem and it always will be.
Mad Mo made it so.
