While it's true that most Muslims are not radicals or terrorists (and some Muslims - like Jordan's King Abdullah or General Al-Sisi in Egypt are genuinely dedicated to combating radicalism), the fact remains that most terrorists and violent religious fanatics are Muslims. This means that there is something intrinsic to Islam that disproportionately inspires fanaticism and violence in ways that Christianity or most other faiths do not.

Saying that Islamic terror is just the fault of a few bad apples sweeps the fact that Islam constitutively creates those bad apples at rates unseen in any other religion. Like Wilders, President Trump used to openly acknowledge this. It's unfortunate that he took the more PC route by giving his own version of a "religion of peace" while genuflecting to the Saudis.

Islam is a concept. Concepts cannot be killed. Best you can do to adverse-affecting concepts is sequester their effects like a pus-oozing sore and don’t pick the scab.
