There are probably tens of thousands of TV episodes from the different decades. Most of them are probably pretty lousy looking back, but of course a few were rather stellar.
The episode on Little House on the Prairie where Mary goes blind, nightmare at 20000 feet on the Twilight Zone, the episode with a huge battle on Game of Thrones, or the Pilot of The Wonder Years are examples of some great episodes.
In your opinion, what are the three greatest TV episodes of all time?
I can’t recall all the information about different episodes but there were several “Amos N Andy” which really made me laugh and very few shows have ever done that.
There were some good episodes on “Leave It To Beaver”.
A whole bunch from “Perry Mason”, in fact I would rate it as the best series ever even tho there were a few weak episodes.
The local TV station started showing “The X-Files” again and to my surprise they are not as good as I remembered. I will say the one about Ponce De Leon’s descendants still living in the Florida Panhandle was very good.
I’m very partial to “The Rifleman: The Sheridan Story” with Royal Dano as Frank Blandon, a terribly wounded and embittered Confederate veteran given a job by Lucas who feels pitty for the poor guy.
Things get pretty dicey when a squad of Union officers, led by General Phillip Sheridan shows up, asking Lucas if they can bivouac on his property overnight, to which he also agrees, and the Civil War begins anew.
This episode could easily have been turned into an hour long episode. But the fine acting of Dano and excellent writing of Cyril Hume make it well worth the half-hour of “The Rifleman’s” format.
It’s available on YouTube. For those who haven’t seen it, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
And there have been a bunch others too. Lori's death comes to mind. The look on Carl's face, walking out after he's done the deed...
My hubby was just talking about that classic episode 2 nights ago.
Twilight Zone-TO SERVE MAN
Too many of I LOVE LUCY to mention.
We are back on line, now this.
The Midnight Sun ist one of the best episodes of The Twilight Zone And Lois Nettlton was so fine in that one for a coming of age kid like i was

Carol Burnett and Tim Conway with the elephant story.
The marine biologist episode of Seinfeld.
The Turkey drop on Wkrp
The Wade Bogus episode of Cheers
So many great episodes with that show. Hard to pick just one.
I cannot believe I have never watch that Twilight Zone episode before! I thought I seen them all many times before.
The flying ability has been bred out of domestic turkeys. They have more breast meat and smaller wings. They also have shorter legs than wild turkey which makes it harder to take off.
“Felina,” the final episode of “Breaking Bad.”
Or if they're frozen...
Archie Bunker, ahead of his time.
“A little Song.
A little Dance,
A little Seltzer down the Pants!”
Chuckles the Clown.
Mad Men.
Most all the season 1 episodes. Cable tv at it’s best.
