There are probably tens of thousands of TV episodes from the different decades. Most of them are probably pretty lousy looking back, but of course a few were rather stellar.
The episode on Little House on the Prairie where Mary goes blind, nightmare at 20000 feet on the Twilight Zone, the episode with a huge battle on Game of Thrones, or the Pilot of The Wonder Years are examples of some great episodes.
In your opinion, what are the three greatest TV episodes of all time?
And the one with Barney singing off key in the choir.
I believe it.
Conway’s ability to improvise with unscripted material, making Korman break character and laugh himself silly in the dentists chair made it one of the best moments in TV history.
Burnett in an interview about that skit years later said it was Conway improvising on the fly that made it memorable. First time they taped that skit the audience yawned and the skit was stale. Conway told Burnett he could spice things up with unscripted stuff for the second taping - Burnett gave him the OK and the rest was history.
That is a good one. In the end, I think the Andy Griffith show and Gomer Pyle show both ran episodes where the plot was someone losing their voice, Barney on AG and Sgt. Carter in the Gomer Pyle show and Jim Nabors, with that voice of his, sang while Barney and Carter mouthed the lyrics. Something of that nature but both shows did it.
My personal favorite? The Fugitive with David Jansen, ran from 1863 to 1967. The final episode “The Judgment” in 1967 was the most watched TV program ever until the final episode of MASH years later.
The Fugitive also had the best music track ever for a TV show:

Burgess Merideth, "Time at Last," what a great, tragic scene.
Mark
The Fugitive, how can that be forgotten; we watched it every day for awhile on reruns. David Jansen was great in that role. A true classic.
Another Carol Burnett sketch that cracks me up is when Eunice, Ed and Mama are playing “Sorry”.
Eunice to Mama: “It was a SEVEN!!!!”
Also, Vicky Lawrence ad-libbed some insults to “Eunice”. Carol was desperately trying not to lose it.

Whoops! I meant 1963 to 1967.
In color.
Oh yes, Rockford Files.
Best Episode: “Quickie Nirvana”
Spacey hippie chick friend of Jim’s named Sky Aquarian.
The sound of one hand clapping. Loved it!
Wasn’t that a good finale? “ You mean it doesn’t stop here? The missions get harder?”
Bingo!
and I made a pig out of myself....
Yes, Police Squad. All 6 Episodes were hilarious!
X-Files “Home”
Alfred Hitchcock Hour “The Jar”
The Outer Limits “The Forms of Things Unknown”
Heritage breeds can fly.
Most of the domestic breeds can't.
Is that the one where the Rebel soldier lost his arm and it never healed properly?
We see a few wild ones flying here as well (Texas) One was almost hit last week as he flew low across the 2 lane highway. Perhaps the birds that don’t fly are only the ones bred for their big breasts (pun intended)
Yes.
ANY episode of the RED SKELTON SHOW!
Babylon 5 - And the Rock Cried Out, No Hiding Place
Firefly - Our Mrs. Reynolds
Lost - The Constant
The Simpsons - Cape Feare
The Twilight Zone (1985) - A Message from Charity
