Good Dave, Athens, Georgia is pretty much the same.

Big change from the northeast and the Poconos.

A guy at a nursery told us that this year was the worst for cherry blossoms. A big festival of those trees in Macon, GA was frustrated by the lack of enough cold weather this past winter to biologically “reset” the trees. Never heard that analysis before...

But next year the buds of March/April will be looking good...

Isn’t that the truth! I scanned the Democrat Underground and it looks to be the same — not a place to have a conversation.

We are so lucky.

Thanks, Albion and Doughtyone.  Don't know how the Liberty Bell entered my consciousness.  Perhaps a ghost from historic Philadelphia (that I visited many years ago) whispered out from a dark alley of brain.

I would make one word change -- substituting "fiery" for "dogged" to suggest the Sun. We refer to the "dog days" of summer as the hottest of the season, but that sounds more lethargic.

Shall I compare Free Republic to a summer’s day?
Thy Rascal Writers are more fiery and intemperate.
Rough winds do swirl the Snowflakes of January,
And November’s lease on Victory hath all too short a date.
Sometime too hot the eye of Fake News shines,
And often is Freedom’s complexion dimmed;
And every Founding Fathers’ Creed sometime declines,
By Fraud, or Corruption’s changing course, untrimmed;
But FR’s eternal commentary shall not fade,
Nor Patriots lose possession of the Rights they’re ow’st,
Nor shall Censorship brag thou wand’rest in his shade,
While thy eternal posts to Freedom cause the Internet to Shake.

As an x data tech for a Bell company that picture is nothing.
There are some server rooms I would refuse to enter unless some one cleared a path for me to the equip I needed to get to. In some cases there is 4 plus inches of cables on the deck.
The high end rooms such as Fed Ex hub and Alamo types were pristine and fascinating.
