I hear the same story, told in different ways, all over New York City. ThereÂs 34-year-old Kate, who works in finance downtown. ÂSheÂs beautiful, smart, talented .â.â. everything going for her, her colleague tells me. ÂBut her boyfriend doesnÂt feel settled in his career, so she spent thousands of dollars to freeze her eggs as she waits for him to be ready.

>>>Child-Rearing at 60? Good Lord.<<< I keep hearing 40 is the new 30. I guess that means 60 is the new 45.
Ah, the joys of living outside a biblical world view.
And what did awesome Kate do from high school to age 34?
meat in the freezer always tastes funny. Freezing eggs can’t be all dandy.
Maybe the guy realizes the courts are stacked against men if the marriage fails and children are involved.
Perhaps he wants to avoid the trap.
Maybe he realizes that the driven woman may want a child as an acccesory and not as a precious gift from God that requires placing the child in front of her “needs.”
Just a thought.
Nearly 60 years of radical “feminism,” abortion on demand, no-fault divorce, denigration of men, masculinity, and fatherhood, mass drugging of boys with ADHD medicines, Federal and family laws & regulations that heavily favor women, false rape and sexual harassment claims made by women constantly.
And some ditz has the gall to whine about women not having children because of “childish” men?! Look in the mirror, *****, and see the one to blame.
Advice for American men: Don’t marry American women — 3.25 billion candidates in other parts of the world.
>>>And what did awesome Kate do from high school to age 34?<<<
It doesn’t say. But I’m going to make an assumption that Kate was busy being a strong independent woman.
Actually very few children under the age of a few years are available for adoption compared to the number of couples that wish to adopt in the United States
She might look at it from the perspective that he knows if he makes children, but then fails, not just him, but her and the child will be destitute - and he will be blamed for it.
Likewise, he could just be crippled if he falls out of favor with her, and gets a sizeable alimony and child support fine leveled against him. Thus guaranteeing that he would never be successful, and always be in thrall.
Laura Ingraham did it. She seems pretty put together...
That is one of the best questions I’ve ever seen asked here.
“This article touches on how college educated women want to be with college educated men.”
Entire swaths of good, decent, hardworking, income earning men aren’t good enough for them. Enjoy your cats.
When I hit 60 last year I was told 60 was the new 40.
New York people are weird.
You touch on a growing movement of American men wanting to find women from other countries.
I heard they have websites for this specific purpose.
I hear that some American women are really critical of men who would do such a thing. Why go halfway around the world when you can find d a woman in your hometown, is what these women ask........
Laura Ingraham adopted children from overseas, if I recall correctly.
Kate needs a new boyfriend - nay, a husband.
This guy is just using an excuse under the time-tested understanding of why buy the cow.
Kate can be strong and independent. She can freeze her eggs and become a mother whenever.
Blaming men as this title suggests proves that she is upset that men don’t follow her path.
