The hard, cold reality is that there aren't 50 Senators in the Senate that will fund the wall. Republicans that refuse to do need to be called out and Trump does need to find a way to get the way funded.

But, that doesn't mean a government shutdown will accomplish that. That is what the Dems, Republican members of the uniparty and the media want. They want to be able to blame it on Trump.

Cruz has a great idea. The Rats spent the Bank fines on their pet projects so Trump should direct the Treasury to transfer the ceased funds to HS to use to fight drug smuggling. Not just a wall but other efforts also.
