For a long time Alisyn Camerota was reluctant to describe the dark side of working at Fox News.
She respects many of her former colleagues. She has close friends who work there. But she perceives that something has changed now that the channel's CEO Roger Ailes and biggest star Bill O'Reilly have been ousted by the Murdoch family.
"It feels as though, if I take the Murdochs at their word, they really want to know what was wrong there and what the culture was like," Camerota said.
And there was something profoundly wrong. In an interview on CNN's "Reliable Sources," Camerota said publicly for the first time that she was one of Ailes' targets.
"Yes, Roger Ailes did sexually harass me," Camerota said.

A common hooker at least makes her living honestly.
QUESTION: Has any American, or European woman EVER claimed sexual harassment against a MUSLIM male? Why NOT??
It happens to men as well.
At the last place I worked I had two women walk up to me and plant kisses on me. One did it twice.
Others were fairly overt in their flirting.
Wasn’t interested.
They were attractive, don’t get me wrong but, I just wanted to work and deal with the dramas when I was in 20’s and couldn’t have cared less what or how women felt and the energy they woukd exert out of anger when I lost interest.
Oh, and women say some prettt raunchy things too.
They are only sugar and spice when it suits them
Maybe it’s different for women but, as a man, I am flattered but, know where that mine is for me and I don’t want to exert the energy required once it’s crossed.
You spend more time with people at work so, more opportunities for bad tbings to happen that affect you personally and professionally.
Exactly. It was a calculated prostitution.
This is yet another reason companies were offshoring jobs, I suspect.
There are apparently more than a few opportunistic people out there. Cry “victim” to something they’ve been part and parcel to; collect cash.
I must say, it really didn’t surprise me when I was told of the law firm thing. I did have a cousin who legitimately had such happen to her, but it was her constant refusal (much much more than one pretty blatant incident).
Always thought she was one of the hotter MILFs at FNC. Guess she wanted more $$$ and turned left at CNN
Time to lock up people for making false allegations. If any people or organizations are behind them, they should be prosecuted,
“You look nice” gets you fired today in the workplace unless you’re bill Clinton, then you can promise an intern a job in return for a bj and get away with it.
Where “sexually harassed” = telling a woman she looks good.
Guy has no standards apparently. My guess is at thus point any minor infraction of the PC rules by any male at FOX with respect to females was sexual harassment. Camerotta has all the sex appeal of a camel in heat.
“On Sunday an attorney for Ailes, Susan Estrich, denied Camerota’s account.”
What a strange world we live in...there are no morals left...it’s all about the buck..Susan Estrich?????? The wacko ultra liberal who ran Michael Dukakis’s embarrassing presidential campaign blowout.
Why?!!!!
I always assumed Fox insisted their women dress like they do. Fox didn’t hire Michaela.
In a casual conversation one guy at work mentioned that a female worker had taken casual dress code to extreme limits, wearing shorts and t-shirts to the office. I replied "I don't care if she shows up in a bikini, I will say nothing and if someone mentions it to me, I will just say that I hadn't noticed. You cannot comment on a woman's appearance without putting your entire livelihood in danger so let it slide." It's not just HR complaints, you could end up as some sort of viral twitter post about some evil man dared mention my clothes with a million "you go girl" retweets behind it. Just not worth it. If they want to look unprofessional then there is literally nothing that a male manager can do about it, safely. At least where I work.
Another ungrateful, teleprompter-reading bimbo coming out of the woodwork. About which almost all the newsettes are upset is that their contracts were not renewed or they didn’t get the job or show they wanted. So, they scream “harassment.” Bulls***
Big source of conversation this morning and the outcome was surprising. The women were pi##ed. They said, and I paraphrase, that when women wear stiletto 6” heels, dresses that barely cover their butts, push up bras and tops with buttons unbuttoned to the bra, bare midriff, and are acting seductive or suggestive to not just one man, but to many or all to get attention, or cause a stir...well, according to them, these women had better know that men are men, and there is plenty of blame to pass around if they react. The answer of course is to not set yourself up for unwanted attention, dress appropriately, and behave professionally in a work environment. There will be those alpha males who will be overbearing, they need to be held to account, knowing it could cost you your job, but that is life, and all the badgering and accusations against men who only react to your behaviour is counter productive to solving the problem. In Many, but not all cases, these women create the problem themselves, and know it. In the end, they say, attention is attention, good or bad. Take the bad players out, and realize that for most women, when they want attention from certain males, they were taught how to get it. Wow! What do you think of that? Remember, I just listened in.
WHile I have my doubts, I would not be surprised if this sort of thing goes on at ALL networks. I havent liked FOX news in a dozen years, so I dont give a crap about them. What bothers me is how this is being directed SOLELY at Fox news, that BS and they know it, this is all a hit job.
I was just reading a college gymnastics forum and saw the video I’m about to post. I don’t understand why this FOX whining adult women story is bigger than the story of the US gymnastics team and its longtime team doctor sexually abusing girls and young women FOR YEARS.

I too was sexually harassed by Roger Ailes..$$$ please.
That’s so easy or just get up and walk out of the room.
