Tiger Woods has undergone yet another back surgery, and the rest of his 2017 season has been placed in question.
Woods announced on his website Thursday that another back surgeryhis fourth since September, 2014was necessary to "alleviate ongoing pain in his back and leg."

I remember some kid named Woods. Pretty good IIRC until he hit some sort of mental wall.
I thought he retired.
You know what is good for back and leg pain?
Hot mud bath.
He just needs some more Waffle House waitress p****.
hasn’t it been rumored that he used steroids?
It is a rumor. I stood right next to him at TPC Sawgrass. He is not a big guy, I doubt he juiced. I’m a 6’2” 215 weight lifter, and I dwarfed him. I bet he’s 6’0” 175...
This is the 20th anniversary of Wood’s Masters win, which IMO, is one of the greatest championship games in all of sports.
On the course he just wanted to hit the ball harder and harder with or without steroids, we’ll never know.
And he always appeared to love the fans adulation but hated the fans presence.
Off the course well we all know about that.
Good riddance to this piece of trash. He had what, 14 affairs with prostitutes while having a family and little kids at home. How many diseases did he deliver to his wife?
He might be 41 but his back is 85. I have different theories on how he wrecked his body from the torque he produces in his swing to his training like a Navy SEAL. Damn shame.
...
I remember him playing a local amateur tournament in his teens. The local news showed him grabbing his lower back and falling to the ground after hitting a drive.
I’m surprised he had any career at all.
I started watching golf because of him.
Remind me again: Why should I care?
Because he’s a Negro golfer?
He was 6 ft tall and maybe 160 lbs when he won the Masters aged 21.
Presumably he had the finest (?) physical trainers and advisors money could buy and presumably they gave him their blessing to embark on an intense bodybuilding routine regardless of his body’s suitability to the task, regardless the need to retain flexibility and regardless of his desire to look like a V-shaped comic book character.
I saw him at the 2007 US Open and he was, indeed, absolutely ripped. At the practice green he spent most of his time leaning on his putter and ‘thinking’ but actually posing.
That would have also coincided, as we know now, with the absolute height of his sexual smorgasbord, marriage and kid(s) notwithstanding.
The feminists may not like it, his fans (including the fawning press) may not want to admit it but when TW was in his prime he was also getting more [tail] than a toilet seat and I for one believe there was a connection there.
The first injury to shoulder, back, knee or anything else should have been a warning to him and his medical people but between workouts and his playing schedule he stubbornly exacerbated and prolonged his problems.
It may be simply that genetically he had a finite number of swings in that back and that they were used up years ago but he certainly accelerated the emptying of the gas tank.
All we will ever see of him now is occasional appearances at Tournaments that give him an exemption and pay a big appearance fee for him to show up and pal around with the big wigs.
All he will be from now on is a show pony. His biggest achievement might be to start hitting the ceremonial first shot at the Masters with Jack and Gary.
With 9 years to rest up we might see him on the Champions Tour when he turns 50, but his PGA Tour career is now officially over.
Father time remains unbeaten. He was even looking good before the latest round of back problems, didn’t perform well in the majors but he was winning tournaments. Then, pop. And all those records we all knew he’d crush stand. He really needs to stop trying to come back, focus on getting healthy, spend 2, maybe 3 years just getting the body right. Then see if it can play golf anymore.
His last major championship victory came just before the PGA started testing for performance enhancing drugs.
Coincidence?
Meanwhile, this guy continues to play.
Tiger is 41. Senior Tour (Champions Tour) age requirement is at least 50.
I know that this type of news article is not that important, but please try to get your facts straight. You're resembling liberal fake news.
