FULL TITLE: Adding insult to injury: United did NOT take passenger's bags off his plane after he was dragged off - then sent his luggage to the WRONG address hundreds of miles from where he was hospitalized
The doctor dragged off a United plane in scenes which created global outrage was further insulted when the airline withheld his luggage, sending it on a convoluted path home.
Dr David Dao was accused of refusing to give up his seat on Sunday's United Express flight UA3411 flight from Chicago to Louisville for the airline's staff.
Cell phone footage then shows the moment when he was forcibly and violently removed from the airline by heavy-handed Chicago Aviation Security police officers.
Now, it has been revealed that on top of being forced out of their seats and off the plane, the airline did not take the time to release their luggage to Dr Dao and his wife, instead sending it back to Kentucky and leaving them with nothing.

Quite agree. Perhaps this will bring on a change for the better.
Not as sick as I am of hearing from internet tough guys.

....and Thank You for flying Dao Airlines!
Well, that should feed us both dinner!
“Good luck with that. He will not win.”
He certainly WOULD NOT GET A DIME if I were on the jury. Either we live in a civil society that obeys what the pigs tell them to do, or we do not. It’s bad enough in the black community, it’s worse in Muslim communities (in Europe), we DO NOT need it here.
The video of him overbooking the flight and ensuring he would be randomly selected are a hoot.
His new found 20mil should be able to replace it.
While he didn’t deserve injury, he certainly deserved to be insulted.
Amazing how they always use caps lock...
I hope so.
So you believe we should be living in a police state? Obey everything the cops say or else? How utterly dictatorial and totalitarian of you.
Should have deported the pervert drug dealer a decade ago.
Sorry, but, what you’re saying is idiotic.
I would definitely sue Dao if I had been a passenger on that plane. Everyone on that plane who was affected by his antics should.
NO. If they give me an unlawful order I don't have to obey. For a real world example, if I'm filming on public property, and they order me to stop, I DON'T have to obey. (assuming I'm not hindering their work)
Yeah, airlines are scrambling because they and you are so right about what happened to Dr. Dao. United will now demand that employees book at least one hour ahead of a flight to avoid what happened to Dr. Doa. No $hit Sherlock!
At least UAL actually loaded the man’s checked bags in the first place and didn’t just put them, instead, on a flight straight to their warehouse in Chicago where it would be held until their annual auction. That’s what happened to my luggage. Wife confirmed that after several hours on the phone chasing from one recording and forwarding to another until a warehouse clerk picked up the phone. UAL apparently does that with a certain percentage of economy class luggage, then sends the passenger a letter explaining that their legal department has determined that UAL has no liability so the UAL will neither return the baggage or compensate for it. They do not claim that the passenger has erred, just that UAL keeps the luggage.
Hey, I’m good for anything that contributes to the diminution or bankruptcy of UAL.
