Camelicious is a Dubai based dairy brand, which produces and exports camel milk products to the world.
Its factory is the first of its kind in the world, producing liquid and powdered milk, cheese, margarine, ice cream and even shampoo.
With its products shipped to cities such as London and Paris, Camelicious seeks to expand its export network to include every country in the world.
An ambitious plan some would say, but with the continued high demand for camel milk produce and an increased awareness of its benefits, its future expansion may not be off the mark.
Having seen a camel up close in Dubai (and having ridden same) I can’t imagine being desperate enough to want to consume any part of it or anything *from* it.
Little did he realize he was ahead of his time.
Camel milk is actually very healthy; and can be useful for diabetics, among others.
The problem is getting it, because I think there is only
one seller in the US (not enough camels on camel farms).
Been there ...done that....
Camel milk products are fine......
I like Camels....They are like bumpy horses that spit... :^)
A MUSLIM AND HIS CAMEL
Inseparable .... except with a crowbar
Well, Australia has lots. More than they’d like, apparently.
I got an idea, round up all those feral beasts and milk’em!
On my first trip to Dubai I arrived at about 6AM local time and made my way to my hotel by about 9AM.After 13 hours from JFK I was ready to sleep as soon as I hit the door.Getting ready for bed I turned on the TV (out of curiosity)....
CAMEL RACES!
It was then that I realized I wasn't in Kansas anymore.
Camel milk—one hump or two?
Been all through Mid Asia and North Africa....
You’re right...it ain’t Kansas
Actually,my *very* first hint was hearing the moslem "call to prayer" over loudspeakers in the baggage area.I had never heard it before.
I remember landing in Rawalpindi and hearing that at the taxi stand at the airport....
Does it contain camel urine like it does in the middle east?
It’s actually a much better product than the swill that passes for milk in this country.
