I wouldn’t be too surprised, he does a lot of business with Chinese.
But this is the first I heard that. Is it true?
While officially he only speaks English...that is just a pretense to cover his real origins; for back in Willy Wonka's chocolate factory he and his shorter cousins had all eaten a special magical candy which allows them to converse (and sing cute songs with moral lessons) in any language. He alone later experimented with another magical candy that makes Oompa Loompas taller and more business savvy. Sadly, too business savvy for Mr. Wonka's liking...
