Trumps recent strike on Syria seems to have surprised many of us. Which of the following is your position?
A. President Trump was right to attack Syria for the gas attacks. B. I wish Trump did not attack Syria.

Unless our strategic or geopolitical stance is in danger, we “ain’t got a dog in the fight.” There is much violence and terror and atrocities in the world and in particular the Middle East and Africa. We should not be the policemen of the world. Such action will suck national treasure and precious lives from our great nation.
We have not won a war since WWII. We won in WWII because it was a war of total annihilation and destruction against our enemies. We have not conducted a war like that since. Thus we lose wars.
One must chose his wars wisely and determine if the self interest of the United States is at stake. There is no glory on the battlefield. War is ugly nasty business. Man goes to war for country and honor. On the battlefield he fights to survive and protect his brothers in arms. He also fights for vengeance. Things happen on the battlefield and it is not pretty.
When one chooses limited war he has given the battle plan and rules of engagement to the enemy. In fact by limitations the enemy chooses the rules of engagement.
If our national interests are at stake, “Cry havoc and let slip the Dogs of War.” Otherwise stay home and drink your beverage of choice.
War is very serious business!

Well, I don’t care much for the way the poll is worded but I support President Trump in his actions. I wish there was peace in the world but if wishes were horses I’d really be broke.

Really? Bombing the side fighting off ISIS, Al Qaeda, and assorted Salafist jihadis and protecting Christians and other religious minorities against persecution and death. If you vote A than ISIS and assorted jihadis, who are raping and enslaving little Yizidi and Christian girls and chopping off the heads of their fathers, thank you. Christians in Syria want Assad! Non-Christians making our foreign policy don't give sh*t about little Christian girls sold into sex slavery and forced Islamic conversion. They view Christian lives as not all that important, especially when considered as acceptable sacrifice for neocon geostrategic goals.
“Unless our strategic or geopolitical stance is in danger, we aint got a dog in the fight.
Well, that was quick, you got it right away.
Our strategic and geopolitical stance is that we will not allow the use of chemical weapons to proliferate. The stance has been around since 9/11.
We also have 1,200 dogs in this fight, in Syria right now.
B for Bush foreign policy.
If I let idiots like you set the terms of discussion, yes. I don’t. So, no.
“A - because what the hell, why not?”
Exactly. I don’t think Assad did it. But if it causes other tin pot nations like North Korea and Iran to wonder if Trump will pound them, why not?!
A - but only because I am an unrepentant warmonger.
Sending that message was important enough to put me in the A camp.
