NOT an April fools question
IS there a system that you can purchase just the wireless mics that will use the TV speakers or do we HAVE to buy some fancy amp system etc. ?
youtube karaoke isn’t the best most tracks have the vocals low in background ,check out sing snap, I use a usb 4 channel mixer with built in FX so I can get a good mix on my sound and pal talk is a good place to hang out and sing
Just hire my neighbor Ty. He has the full setup. Not only does he do that but he is a wedding DJ. Not only that but he runs a car repair service out of his garage. Not only that but there is an infowars sticker on the back of his truck. Not only that but he loves doing Karaoke DJ’ing wearing his Hillary for prison T Shirt.

Our Magic Sing system has a wire and a wireless with chips you can buy, but it is eating batteries and getting hot with a crackly wire connection.
We bought it old, used and four years ago.
We'd been looking at microphones that seemed too inexpensive at thirty bucks until I did a little research and found the mics needed an amp and other stuff.
The unit you showed is JUST what we want ... a compact unit that will hook up with our smart TV
As far as cordless mics and TV's I don't know of anything that will do that off the top of my head, but I haven't done this for 15 years or so. The TV could play the video words, but I think the mics would have to play through a separate amp, not through the TV speakers. I suppose you might get a laptop to feed the words to the screen on RGB and a mic feed the sound input of the TV, I just don't know.
Just as an example of the previous solution, a friend of mine just opened a Christian outreach center and purchased a used Amp/mixer, plus 2 Shure mics and 2 speakers plus several cords for under $500. I'm sure if you looked around you could get cheaper. The amp and speakers were nicer than you would need to clunk around the house. Buying the professional setup will give you more options for the future and give you something to sell in the future. I didn't bother to look up what a Karaoke setup cost today, but am willing to bet it would close in on $300-$500 anyway for anything halfway decent. If you were satisfied with a $100 karaoke, we aren't on the same page. The $100 ones are for an 8 year old to sing "Frozen" in her bedroom 43 times a night.

Along this line I’m looking for an inexpensive PA system which doesn’t need a noisy generator. My Legion post holds a number of activities outdoors without a PA system mainly funerals and grave side ceremonies. Usually attendance is not much more than 50. Something simple, like a wireless mike broadcasting into a couple of boom boxes. Any ideas or suggestions are welcome
