A single mom dressed up like a man so that she could take her six-year-old daughter to her highly-anticipated father-daughter school dance — but the school's principal refused to let them attend.
Knowing how much her daughter, Gracie, wanted to attend the dance even though her father was out of the picture, Amy Peterson, of Henry County, Georgia, decided she'd take her daughter to the dance.
The conform to the dance's theme though, the duo decided that Amy would attend dressed up like a man.

This actually is really sad for the young daughter.
There are many fatherless children because the fathers were killed in action..
What is sad is the mother was a whore who had a baby out of wedlock, now the child suffers.

Sounds like all the other children have fathers but not this mother, no she could not give her little girl that, just too selfish.

True but that does not seem to be the case here or the mom would have said “the dad was killed in Iraq” or whatever. Had she said that, trust me people would be feeling it for her. One of is military pals would have said “I’ll take her to the dance” Military FReepers am I correct on this?
No this is just a woman who popped one out of wedlock, no father at all in the picture. Now this school is having a father-daughter dance and she wants to ruin it for every other girl who has a father just because her child does not have one.

Society tends to bend over backward to help perverts who want to pretend to be the gender they are not. That’s OK these days.
But what he have here is a mother trying to give her daughter a special day. Society doesn’t want that! Stomp that dream!
No one is perfect. It seems to me that the mom was trying to do something nice.
Good fathers are often disenfranchised from their children’s lives by the children’s mothers.
I would look at other things as well. Did the father refuse to support the child? Is the father even known?
What if the mom were to be a military widow?
This is a stupid rule. No one would have cared had they been allowed to attend. Another tinpot dictator running a school.
She had me going until she started talking about rule changes for father daughter dances. If it’s that important to her that her daughter have a father, she should go get one.
If the father won’t marry her then maybe she should give the baby up for adoption. To a mother and father who can give her what she needs.

This situation is very sad for the little girl. The Mom should have recruited a male relative or family friend, which would have been allowed according to the event rules.

Upon reading some of comments on this thread, I shudder to think how ugly it would get here if these were not white people.
Maybe the mother can give her what she needs.
