Knowing how much her daughter, Gracie, wanted to attend the dance even though her father was out of the picture, Amy Peterson, of Henry County, Georgia, decided she'd take her daughter to the dance.
The conform to the dance's theme though, the duo decided that Amy would attend dressed up like a man.

I know someone on Facebook who has three out of wedlock biracial children. (Same dad, he was a high school athlete she had a crush on but didn’t have the courage to date.
Flash forward a few years, he’s playing minor league ball and suddenly she’s got courage.
Three kids later he never got the courage to put a ring on it and reverted to the ghetto when the ball thing didn’t work out.
She got a little religion and is always going on and on about how God’s going to send her a Boaz.

It sounds as if she wants to do something good for her child. It sounds as if the father doesn’t care.
The mother may be doing the best she can for her little girl. Mothers do that. Let’s pray for the mother rather than calling her names. I think we’ll all be better persons if we do that.

In 1900 clear up to 1960’s it would not have been so why are things different now? Have you forgotten there was a time and place in America when an unmarried woman with a child (who was not widowed) would never have dared to do such a thing? Like said before we know father is not dead or the news would have ran with that excuse.
Have you forgotten that yes a child would have been told this at one time? Society has accepted free sex so much that now this language shocks you? A child born out of wedlock, with no father is what it is.

Widows and orphans are spoken about differently than sluts and bastards. Being able to read between the lines is an easy skill to learn. Give it a shot sometime.
