LOL, when I was on my honeymoon in Spain, I went down to the common room one night and watched The Blues Brothers in Spanish with a bunch of Spaniards...
It was funny...I know a little spanish, but I knew the lines much better!
I tried to watch that movie many years ago, and it just didn’t grab me at all.
LOL, I have watched it twice in the last month with two different audiences.
I have to say, for total bizarreness that just made me laugh out loud, was Julianne Moore’s character doing her performance art...I just about spit my drink!
And then, when she is in bed and he asks if she is doing a yoga move or something...
I did enjoy it this time around!
There’s so much material in that movie, it takes several viewings to absorb it all, kind of like Blazing Saddles and Airplane.
