She m ighta been afraid not to-
****Abducted student, 15, was forced to hide from teacher, 50, after he began showing up to her work unannounced..****
It may have been embarrassment rather than fear - she didn’t want anyone to know about their ‘relationship’. Strange that she added ‘wife’ and a ring emoji to her facebook I.D.
Her immaturity probably fluctuated between fear of discovery and flattery that her ‘teacher’ said he loved her.
Poor confused, abused child.

Perverts are known to groom their victims, and play mind games with them. That could well be a factor here, that she felt afraid but also felt in love? Perhaps because of sexual involvement, she’s not thinking the way you and I would about this sort of situation???
Doesn’t it say that it was on a shared computer at school? Is it possible he wrote letters to himself pretending to be her and using her account? I have a relative who has several Facebook accounts, and posts messages to herself from the “other “ person. It reminds me of that Jackie girl from the fake UVa rape article that Rolling Stone put out. There was no other guy, just a figment of her imagination. My mentally ill relative needs help, but I don’t think she’s getting any. Maybe this pervert teacher was doing the same this with this girl.
Stockholm Syndrome.
It’s real. I’ve seen it. It’s hard to believe unless you see it.
Maybe there were problems at home, but it could happen just as easily with a perfectly normal and stable home life.
