STEATOPHYGIA [stee uh toh PYE jee uh]
hear it pronounced
noun
AStear, Greek for "fat, grease," gave rise to the prefix steato-, while pyge is Greek for "buttox, rump." Together, this prefix and noun gave us steatophygia for fatty accumulation on the buttocks, and steatophygic fat buttocked, the condition of possessing a very fat rump. Also synonyous with callipygian, callipygous.
