Nearly half the Big Apple’s sexually active high-school girls have had female partners — and many engage in behavior that endangers their health, an alarming new study finds.
Researchers from New York University and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine based their findings on a 2013 survey of public high-school students citywide — but most heavily in “high-risk neighborhoods” in the Bronx, Brooklyn and Manhattan.
Of 4,600 girls surveyed, 1,101, or 27.5 percent, were sexually active. Of those, 513, or 46.6 percent, reported same-sex experiences, according to the study, published this month in the Journal of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology.
This “vulnerable population of girls” who engage in same-sex or bisexual activity are twice as likely as heterosexual teens to be sexually active. The researchers also found:
These girls start having sex sooner, have more sexual partners and suffer more “intimate partner violence.” They are less likely to use contraceptive methods — putting them at higher risk of unplanned pregnancy if they also have sex with boys. They use more alcohol, marijuana and other illicit drugs. They report more suicidal thoughts or attempts. Girls “not sure” of their sexual orientation are at highest risk of trying to kill themselves. Even though female-to female transmission of HIV is possible, many of these girls do not test for it or other sex-related diseases.
The researchers found the abundance of same-sex activity even though not all teens who indulged identified themselves as lesbian or bi-sexual.
The surveys were conducted by the city Department of Health for the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Well the REALLY cool thing would be to go transgender, but since that’s not possible for all kids, they settle for doing gay stuff. Which is still considered cool, just not as much.

That’s a thing, but what they describe as “at-risk areas” are filled with sexual abuse, chaotic homes, drugs, and other disasters.

The Bronx is the only part of the city on the mainland. It is much worse than Harlem now as far as urban decay. They do have a fine zoo there, and Yankee Stadium is there too. I believe Bernie Sanders came from there. Very few conservatives of any stripe
The Gay Pride street fair in NY City attracts more and more thousands of high-school age kids every year. There are hundreds of vendors like Time-Warner and Miller Beer pushing everything from magazines and travel to sex toys. Sad to see so many kids being sold over to a homosexual existence.

The stat that jumped out at me was that nearly 73% of the high school girls were NOT sexually active. I don’t know if I believe it’s that high, but if it is, it’s better than I thought.
I simply don’t believe the lesbian sex part. It is so easy for some ‘study’ to lie outright. Some lesbian academics wanted this out there. We are surrounded by fake news and all you can go on is your instinct, because somebody will put out a ‘study’ on the Internet that claims one thing or another.
Porn, my ex is a teacher and the kids watch porn on line, a lot, one 12 year had to get help, all he did was watch porn, but then his dad was going to Thailand 2 or 3 times a year to help the poor he said

Had the opportunity to the visit the city years ago, on the job in NJ. Before 9/11. Had no desire to eat expensive hamburgers and drink expensive (domestic) beer. I’m not really a city boy, and my city is midwest. Chicago was the biggest American city I’d been to, and I really didn’t much care for it.
But after 9/11 I felt I did myself a disservice.
