My daughter got me one for Christmas.
I suppose it’s high time I take it out of the box
and figure out what it can do.
Thanks. I haven’t watched regular television in years and love my Roku
Thanks!
Ping!
When you find out what it can do, let me know!!
We got an Amazon Fire thingy and pick up a few things, some with subscription others not. I’m still confused.
will have a look
LOL....Old School Social Studies Films Channel :-)
(Actual history!!)
I was wondering how to get the Bellydance Channel /s
I know!! Shocked me as well :-) Diversity anyone?
THANK YOU!
I love ROKU
XTV is a great channel- mostly because it has some great movies and The Big Bang Theory 24/7 on one channel
I agree X-TV is the best. This and Channel Pear make for a team effort. The remaining channels are just the icing and really not needed much. :-) Love our ROKU
If only X-TV would bring back “MONK” on their 24/7 Oh well, still have the X-files and Fraiser
Two years ago we cut the cable and bought an antenna for $19.95. Don’t watch that much TV anyway. Grandson - who is a teenage techie is upset because I refuse to get wifi at the house - was watching old black and white cowboy shows, Laurel and Hardy movies and even the Three Stooges when he was over last and just laughing up a storm. ION is a household favorite.
We do some live streaming on the computer if we really find something that is a must see.
Took some adjustment in the beginning but turns out it was the best financial decision we have had to make in a while.
Roku also has Youtube on it. And if you have Amazon Prime, you can access movies/British television series through Roku as well. MIT lecture videos are also available.
Added that one! Cool!
What does this do? I have heard of this being used with something called Kodi.
DramaFever and Viki for asian dramas. Most of the stories are more wholesome than US shows. Also, TV shows don’t last forever. Most are just 1 season.
I did, too. I’ll have that on when the youngsters are visiting.
Well, that and the Ozzy and Harriet channel :)
Anyone on FR should regularly keep up with the ACLJ channel with Jay Sekulow on Roku. Following closely the fight over the travel ban and legal process.
It streams programs off the internet to your TV.
I will have to check out the program guide. One problem with the over-the-air digital channels is that newspapers no longer publish listings, and there’s no one-stop onscreen guide.
