Pope warns of 'very grave sin' when jobs are cut unjustly
(Excerpt) Read more at msn.com ...
Looks like the Pope has opted to be a political activist/community organizer instead of the valid head of the Church.
To quote that great philosopher Geezer Butler:
"Would you like to see the pope on the end of a rope
Do you think he's a fool?"
The Pope Must Diet.
This man being Pope is a VERY GRAVE SIN !
And just how does one cut jobs *unjustly*?
Are employers expected to provide workers work when there is none?
THAT would be unjust, to the employer.
Oh, FFS. This from a man who thinks capitalism equals the mafia.
LOL. That’s pretty good.
Uh oh, very grave equals mortal sin.
Finally a statement from the Pontiff with which Cardinal Burke agrees.
I wonder...
Just was is considered to be...
Like...
...call no man father???
Well...
1 Corinthians 6:9-11
The Catholic Church here in the U.S. has a very long history of this sort of thing. It hitched itself to the labor movement in the late 19th. Century in order to curry favor with it’s flock, which was largely made up of working-class Catholic immigrants.
Some of their Priests (Detroit’s Fr. Coughlin and Pittsburgh’s Fr. Cox) became media stars spouting this sort of crud on the radio in the 1930’s.
I guess if that is related to worshipping the true Father and ones heart does think their father is earthly, that may slip in there somewhere, up to God..
Is the Pope willing to forgo Catholic tithes so businesses can afford to keep employees?
From accounts from business men in general, it seems the Church (evangelical included) have for a long time held a dark view of them and capitalism in. At least for the last few decades.
Too bad they don’t appreciate that most Churches would fall into bankruptcy if it wasn’t for wealthier tithers.
One thing I’ve learned about liberals is that they consider the few parts of the bible to be the very words of God, however, “give money” is one of those parts that they accept as God-breathed.
Yes, but another part of the problem is liberalism seeping into Christian minds. In my liberal city, Christians tend to lean left. They are more molded by their society than they would likely admit.
