Try a little heat. I'd do that, but the aluminum block holds the shaft, which has plastic bushings and neoprene feed rollers attached. They no like heat.

A good way to apply heat where you want it, put it on the screw for about 60 seconds. Then remove with wrench. Loctite melts at about the same temp as solder.
