Can it possibly be worse than the last one?

Is King Kong gay in this film?....
Gotta ask these days!
To: drewh
why do they keep making a stupid remake of a mediocre at best, movie?
and why do people waste money on it?

I think I have seen all the King Kong movies but this one will have to wait until it is on the late show.
The last one was pretty good but as is usually the case, the 1930s original was the best.

The early rip off (Mighty Joe Young) was decent.

I saw this movie last night, and the theatre was busier than it has ever been.
Good movie I thought. I really liked it.
It was set in Vietnam, and split in eras, between world war II and then later, around the Vietnam war era. Just as the war ended.
It was actually shot in Vietnam. Beautiful scenery.
I very much liked this film. Thumbs up.

If they will re-film it without Samuel L. Racist I’d watch it.

Probably best to avoid any movie with Morgan Fishburne, Lawrence Jackson, or Samuel L Freeman in them.

Well, at least it made for a fun, if brief, virtual ride at Universal Orlando.

King Kong will survive this just fine.
There have been far more bad "Kong" movies than good ones.
"King Kong Escapes", anyone? Anyone?

The last movie I saw in theaters was Ender's Game. My GOD, the whole spirit of the book was ripped out and thrown in the trash, with some token lines from the novel thrown in to placate long-time fans like myself. When it was finished, I sat in the theater stunned, unsure if I wanted to cry or not. It was just so damn bad.
This is out for a very limited time, and it's probably 1000000000x better

Favorite lines from the king of King Kong movies:
Native chief (translated): “Look at the golden woman”
Carl Denham: “Yeah, blonds are scarce around here”
