Fox News just showed Jodie Foster speaking to a group of actors and telling them NOT to give THANK YOU SPEECHES but instead to Give POLITICAL SPEECHES at the Academy Awards.

I haven’t watched Hollyweird crap in a loong time.
I’m going to make a prediction: the hollyweirds will stage a nudity scene on the red carpet, to be spewed continually by the sick, dead soul media, to draw attention to what should be shamed out of existence. We are now in the ‘up is down’ and ‘wrong is right’ period right before the end.
Have never watched them. Why should I even think of caring. They’re all spoiled and over paid.
Even my wife — who loves movies and mainlines TCM — is boycotting the Oscars this year.
I think the last time I watched the Oscars was back in the early 1990s. Plus, I haven’t had cable for years!
My life has been enriched by limiting my tv time to what I put in the DVD player or occasionally stream on my computer. You don’t realize how much that idiot box contributes to your mental state until you separate yourself from it. The same goes for the bilge that Hollywood spews into the public square.

I think I watched the Academy Awards once or twice in the mid-’70s.
I drank a lot then and there were only five TV stations in the Denver market.
A boycott pre-assumes you’ve ever partaken of the product in the past.
Sorry, I can’t participate in the boycott.
It has been about at least decade since I’ve bought a movie ticket for a major motion picture though.

I last watched in 1968.
Which explains why a lot of my snowflake "acquaintances" didn't like it. Portraying the South in general and NASA in particular the way it was back in the 1960s was just too hurtful for these dolts.
Not enough "kumbaya" moments where everyone smokes dope and sings stupid folk songs for them, I suppose.
