looks good but it seems the farm country could use more rain....
According to Moonbean we under drought because we are still paying higher water rates?
Problems that justify higher taxes or higher utility rates never go away.
Trump effect.
Yes, I do believe that’s true! ;>D
All about money and power. Nothing to do with the weather nor the climate.
One result should be a huge desert flower bloom pretty soon - they can be spectacular with this kind of rainfall.
Bad news though, Californians: the drought isn’t really over until the groundwater is restored. Could take years, don’t you know. So it’s not like we WANT to keep control over you via the “emergency” drought
Measures; it really is necessary. Thanks for understanding. Love, Jerry Brown and the
Boys in Sacramento
Double our annual rainfall....still in a drought map.
Go figger
I’ve heard that line. I suspect it would literally take decades to fully restore the groundwater to where it was when we started drawing from it.
Kind of funny. That one yellow blob by itself in eastern California along the border is Death Valley. It is always “Abnormally Dry” there.
Nearly every place on that map that is still in drought is a place that doesn’t get that much rain anyways, and thus is not going to affect the state water picture as a whole. Nearly every reservoir in the state is overflowing.
They Never officially ended the drought we had in the 90’s, why would anything be different now? The Drought GOES ON FOREVER, along with the 3000 drought management employees.
The Drought GOES ON FOREVER,....Wasn’t there a song like that years ago by the Allman Brothers?
But Califoristan always has a CASH drought.
Trump got elected and progressive California got wet.
