The words Google Flat Earth were found carved into Mount Rubidoux this week in letters that were approximately ten feet tall and visible from the air.
An aerial photo posted to social media by the Riverside Police Departments air support unit showed only the Google portion of the message was still discernible as of Feb. 4.
While the Riverside Parks Department brought in crews from a CAL FIRE camp in Norco to re-seed the area so the grass can grow and cover up the letters, a man believed to be behind the message reportedly encountered a city employee at the location Monday.
He was wearing an orange construction-style vest and carrying a shovel and pick, city parks director Adolfo Cruz told the Press-Enterprise.
The gentleman was telling the staff member that we live on a flat earth, the report quoted Cruz as saying.

If the earth is flat, why can’t I see the Statue of Liberty from Dallas, even with the most powerful telescope?
If the earth is flat, why is every other heavenly body ever observed, a sphere?
If the earth is flat, how can it be night on one side of the planet, while it’s daylight on the other?
If the earth is flat, why have we never seen photographs of the edge?
Please explain the natural processes that create a disk shaped planet.
If the earth is flat, why cant I see the Statue of Liberty from Dallas, even with the most powerful telescope?
The unicorn zoos block the view.

What is holding the oceans in place, especially if there’s no bottom?

Phil, if you look around the internet, you can find evidence for fairies, werewolves, vampires, time travelers, underground ET bases, parallel universes, space portals, and successful socialist countries.
Of all of those, evidence for a flat earth is most easily disproven.
Seriously? Phil, we've been photographing the planet Earth from outer space since the late 1950s. I suggest you closely examine some of that photographic evidence and compare it to your flat earth theory.
I can't believe you're embracing a theory that was proven false with simple mathematics hundreds of years ago.
When I drive on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge tunnel, I can see the bridge bending “down” a little to accommodate the curvature of the earth.
You should be glad I’m even taking you seriously.
Then it would be a sphere.
Just FYI - his name was Erasthones.
He lived about 2,200 years ago.
Even scarier, what stops the earth from flipping upside down? We could all fall off and die!
Thank you. I didn't cite him because I was drawing a blank on his name.
The big turtle in Post #16.
All the billions of people in China should make the earth tip off its balance point and slide off the turtle, don’t you think?
I’m sure my logic is sound on this point.
I’m sure Hank Johnson thinks so.
I knew someone would bring up ole Hank ;-)
Now that I think of it, that’s why it’s a turtle.
Things can’t fall off a turtle’s back.
When turtles are on their backs, they can’t flip over.
Ergo anything at rest on a turtle’s back is inherently stable.
Except for Guam.
