It never got cold enough to stop any construction jobs Lady. I think your boy was fired.
I know a lot of people with criminal records here who have no problem getting jobs. Sometimes it seems that half of the people in Louisiana have criminal records.

she questioned why the armed customer who shot her son from behind did not instead step outside to call police, Because, lady, when seconds count, the police are about an half-hour away.
The average response time of a 911 call is 23 minutes. The average response time of a 45 ACP bullet is 850 feet per second. Do the math.

Must have been satisfying to blow his ass away.
Well, maybe not. I suppose a person with a conscience can never enjoy that sort of thing.

"It's not right what my child did, but send him to jail -- don't kill him," Ward said. They already did send him to jail. Then they let him go.
Why isn't she mad at the state of Louisiana, for setting him free?

A lot of people don’t understand how traumatic it is to a person to kill another person. I pray for him to have peace.

The construction company did not work on CPT.

From Algeria. Another poor immigrant.
To: Dalberg-Acton
I did not see any mention of Algeria.
Could you point out where you found that interesting bit?

Someone should create an app with a spinning wheel of criminal excuses for when their kids commit crimes.

Ward said she made no excuses for what her son's behavior....
Still, she questioned why the armed customer who shot her son from behind did not instead step outside to call police, given that an NOPD division is headquartered steps from the cellphone store. Stacey, your son ordered everyone - at gunpoint - to the back room of the store. Someone was likely going to die there, and better your son than an innocent sales clerk or customer.
BTW, where is Jordan's father? Is Mr. Espadron still around? Doing time? Dead, perhaps? Just curious.

I wonder when, and under what circumstances, the family moved to the U.S.
Or is he just making up the part about Algeria?
It would be nice if there were a real reporter looking into the story to find out.

Not Algeria - Algiers, Louisiana (it’s a part of Orleans Parish that lies across the Mississippi River from Downtown, French Quarter, Marigny and points downriver).

No I really didn’t peruse his sight any further than to confirm that it was indeed him.
