That has not been explained yet -- or I missed it. When Wimp was revealed as a conspirator, I assumed he had some Chechen connection in his background.

Why did Chechen Emma decide to work with Walter Wimp?I'm not getting that either. Yeah, he's easily manipulated, but why manipulate him? Maybe he's supplying the muslims with outdated public school lab equipment.
