Tom Brady brought the Patriots back from the dead Sunday night against the Atlanta Falcons, executing the biggest comeback in Super Bowl history to erase a 25-point deficit and win a thriller in overtime.
On Monday's episode of "Undisputed," Skip Bayless said that Brady's performance didn't just cement his legacy as the greatest quarterback to ever live - it placed him ahead of Michael Jordan as the best clutch athlete ever.
"Just for perspective - the first Super Bowl I ever covered was January 18th of 1976. It was Super Bowl 10, the first Dallas-Pittsburgh Super Bowl. All these games since then, Ive never seen anything like that game. All the great games in other sports I covered, the U.S. upset of
"This was the most amazing game Ive ever witnessed. Maybe Im being a little prisoner of the moment, but I dont think so. Its starting to sink in. That was the most improbable comeback in all of sports history.
"Where there was no way, because the New England Patriots of Tom Brady and Bill Belichick were all-time bad followed by all-time great. All-time, all-time great."
"And Im ready to plunge and go this far for me, Im the biggest Michael Jordan fan on the planet, but now I have to be objective. I believe that last night, Tom Brady didnt just eclipse the great Joe Montana within the confines of Super Bowl and NFL. I believe that last night, Tom Brady eclipsed the man, MJ, Michael Jordan, as the greatest clutch player in all of sports history.
"What he pulled off last night was flat-out impossible. Seriously impossible."

Damn his white privilege!
The leftist freaks will suddenly discover another “greater” football player who worships their god who occupied OUR House for the last eight years.
And Coach Quinn gets the choke award for calling all those passing plays when the Falcons had an 8 point lead with 3 minutes left and a first down on the Pats’ 20.
Jordan was 6-0. Brady is 5-2, and barely won 4 of those.
The Falcon coach needs to take a class on time management
I wonder if the Patriots will give Shanhan and Quinn a ring?
For an athlete barely won is actually better that an plain ole win.. Just sayin barely won usually mean clutch.
Skip Bayless never heard of boxing as a sport.
Or great clutch boxers like Rocky Marciano, Ray Robinson, Joe Gans, etc etc etc.
I’m going to give Brady his due. I don’t think any other current QB would have mounted that comeback. That said, two of his wins are the direct result of boneheaded play calling by the opposing team. Seattle..Should have run the ball...Atlanta..two possessions with the ball in field goal range. All they had to do was run the ball up the field and if nothing there kick the field goal and keep extending the lead. That six point difference was the difference in the game.
and also lost to the giants twice with mediocre play
Brady’s last college game was against Alabama in the Orange Bowl. Both teams were ranked in the top ten. Brady brought Michigan back from two 14 point deficits and won the game in overtime. He’s been doing this for a long time.
And when coach B picked Brady in the 6th round, he was simply the best rated player available at that time. He had no particular need for a QB or had any idea how good Brady would be.
Superbowls harder to win than NBA titles, obviously.
As a Chicago Bulls fan, I say that this is BS. MJ almost single handedly won some of those championships. One with the flu no less.

Well, that's it. The Atlanta Falcons are Super Bowl champions.

.....n Bayliss is raciss too!
Don’t they get a runner up ring, anyway? Or just a g-damned participation plaque?
I’m ambivalent on Brady and rarely watched NBA, but Jordan is untouchable. The Bulls were shat when he retired the first time - came back - boom 3 more championships.

You play the hand that's dealt you. If the opposing team screws up and you take advantage of that situation, does that make you less of a player or team? I don't think so. That's sports. It doesn't lessen the win. A win is a win.
