ABC is moving forward with its Carol Burnett comedy.
The network on Thursday handed out an official pilot order to the comedy, now known as Household Name, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

You're right. I remember that show - "Life With Lucy." It only lasted a half season. I remember watching the first couple of episodes and feeling sorry for her. What worked well for her in the 50s and 60s did not work at all in the mid 1980s. It was painful to watch, like seeing a once great athlete hang on too long, trying to regain his former glory. That's my fear with Carol Burnett. I would hate to see her end her career in a similar manner.
I felt sorry for her too.
Get Tim Conway on and I might watch it.
(Gee, I love that kind of talk)
But, without Harvey Korman, that comedic engine still wouldn't be firing as well as it should.
Although the best skit on the old Carol Burnett show was with Dick Van Dyke, Vicki Lawrence, and Carol Burnett, where Tim Conway tells his elephant story ...
Did you know Tim Conway Jr has a radio show? He is funny. He talks about his dad sometimes on the show. Funny stories.
Link doesn’t work.
BWAAAAAAAAA!
GSNNNORRRT!
A couple of good moments for Ms. Poehler:
The Mighty B! was a short-lived off-beat “kids” cartoon on Nick, with some really funny moments, poking fun of at life in San Fran.
Parks and Rec was OK until you get sick of the “mockumentary”-style format.
Bad 6th grade style impersonations like those on SNL don’t really do it for me.
But she’s probably full-on unstable with The Donald in charge, so I wouldn’t count on anything good.
