I’ve got gigabit and yesterday was so latent I couldn’t deal with it. The front page loaded, but individual threads were slow.

They keep promising high speed internet here but it never happens. Six years ago, the telephone repairman told me they would have it in about 5 months. Never happened.
I have seen several stories on local TV stations saying some outfit is about to bring it to this area but again, nothing ever happens.
I really can’t afford Hughesnet but I have no choice. Either that or nothing.
