Melania Trump channeled Jackie Kennedy in Ralph Lauren at Donald Trump's inauguration. Melania's had a much more toned-down style the past few days. Is her new look hot or not?
Is Melania Trump's style sexy or dowdy? There has been a huge debate the last 24 hours about the First Lady's inauguration looks. Long sleeves, conservative silhouettes and muted makeup have defined her looks yesterday and today. Is this Melania Trump 2.0?
It is clear that Donald Trump's team is trying to paint a new picture. That image? A wholesome First Lady and mother. But will America buy the message?
Melania and the Trump family arrived at Andrews Air Force Base in Washington D.C. from New York on a military jet yesterday. She was decked out in a black Norisol Ferrari coat with a matching black fitted dress. She wore the same outfit later that day during a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknowns. The family then headed to a luncheon at Donald’s hotel and a pre-inaugural concert at the Lincoln Memorial.

That night, Melania wore her first formal dress of the inauguration. And, again, it was very conservative and toned-down. While Melania stunned in a glittery gold Reem Acra dress at the candlelit dinner at Union Station, she was completely covered up. The dress was long and had long sleeves. She showed no skin and wore barely any makeup.
Today, Melania chose to wear a stunning blue Ralph Lauren number. Again, it was a very modest choice for the former model. Many have pointed out, though, that the cashmere cropped jacket, mock turtleneck dress, suede clutch and gloves could be a nod to Jackie Kennedy. Blue also shows the Trumps are trying to be bipartisan. Instead of her usual blowout, Melania chose to put her hair in an updo.
Melania is known for her glitzy style. She’s been a model since she was 5. Throughout the campaign, Melania wasn’t taken seriously, especially after she plagiarized Michelle Obama’s speech. Now that she’s going to be First Lady, though, her team is trying counteract that. They want to repaint the picture.

Ivanka, meanwhile, completely overshadowed Melania in a bold green Oscar de la Renta coat and a dress yesterday. Could that be a sign of things to come?
Sources have speculated that Ivanka will take more of a First Lady role, especially because Melania will be in New York with Barron. And Ivanka was very involved with the campaign. Ivanka is already taking center stage while Melania is receding into the background. And their style choices show just who’s important.

Finally we have class and grace in the WH East Wing.
I wonder if we’ll ever know about Big Mike, and if Joan Rivers was really correct. I know they are nothing at this point, but what they pulled over the American People is so huge, it would be stunning to see it all exposed, from A to Z.

They need to look at reruns of “Downton Abbey” to see how formal gloves should be worn. Skin tight with buttons on the wrist. Much more elegant.
Whenever I am reinded of the fawning over Moochelle and what she wore, I can only think about two pictures. One, of her getting off Marine 1 in cut-offs, sorry looking shoes and a masculine shirt. And two, when she was in Britain and she misbuttoned an argyle sweater. Embarrassment personified for the American public. And Melania is STUNNING.
They both were beautiful for her. I was not a fan of red color of the belt/tie. Weirdly distracting, like what is that thin strip of licorice doing there. Minor point.
I don’t care about the fashion aspect, but when the choices were a constant middle finger to America, that was too much, especially when the press could only heap praise upon those tacky abominations.
Didn’t the folks who had that “What Not to Wear” show approve of those horrors? Irony. A correctly named show, but not in the way they intended.
Fine? In my opinion Melania Trump was stunningly beautiful on Friday. I don't care what anyone says, when I saw her my jaw dropped. That woman is gorgeous!

I’ve seen formal gloves recently; however, IMO it they were ill-fitting and horribly done.

Not only was she looking away - I didn’t see her say thank you. She grabbed the box and turned away looking for someone in a uniform to pass it to.
I laugh at the creature who wrote this. Honey, men will take Melania seriously. They will take her anywhere she wants to go at anytime she might call. They would walk on water just to kiss her hand.
Get over yourself. Find a job, a REAL job. You mention plagiarism - consider where MO might have heard this first and take it from there, you nitwit.

We know they don't have anything on President Trump, or they would have used it during the past 18 months...their made up crap was all that was out there...
I want government offices, the House, the Senate, each individual investigated and reported back to the American people...these people work for US they don't tell US what to do...
Course if people would not keep re electing them it would help...McLame; Linda Graham; Mike Lee; Turtle McConnell; Paul Ryan; such people like this and others have ‘dirt’ and we the American people should know about it all...
I wish I could find the pic-it must be out there... but I have to say I was not surprised.
