Did he film scenes for the new one? I’m pretty sure at least one person (the log lady, I think) filmed scenes before they died.

Wasn't he know for a time professionally as Mel Ferrer? No. That is a different actor. Mel Ferrer appeared in one of my favorite costume adventures "Scaramouche" starring Janet Leigh and Stewart Granger.

I hate hearing this. I love NCIS LA and in fact like it better then NCIS which a few years ago was unheard of....but at least he is up in Heaven enjoying himself and no more cancer suffering.

Scaramouche is one the greatest movies ever filmed in my opinion.
Right up there with Errol Flynn’s Robin Hood.

It looks like David Lynch will reprise his role as FBI boss Gordon Cole, the man with the double hearing aids.

Okay, I think I remember him as being in The Stand miniseries with Gary Sinese.
