I'm curious how many of you will be celebrating President Trump's inauguration on Friday.
I made a vow to celebrate at Wing's Plus in Coral Springs where Brian Craig, co-host of the Steve Kane radio show (the FIRST on radio to endorse Trump), will have a Trump Inauguration party. I made a vow during the campaign (and especially during a Trump rally I attended down here on Aug. 10) that I would definitely attend.
I remember many nervous times during the campaign and now it will be SWEET to celebrate victory. I know my mind at the party will wander back over many events during the campaign starting with Donald Trump's announcement in June 2015 followed by immediate assertions by the MSM that Trump had NO chance of being nominated and probably wouldn't even last by the first debate.
Over and over and over again, the MSM declared the Trump candidacy dead and EVERY time he prevailed. EVERY TIME! In August 2016, Chuck Todd even kept declaring that Trump would have to drop out of the campaign because it was OVER for him. Yes, they all mocked the very idea that Trump could win...and then he WON. The most INCREDIBLE political campaign in American history.
So it will be great to celebrate. Oh, and while I am at the party, I made sure to record a full 5 hours of the inauguration on TV to savor later.
I’m working a 10 hour EMS shift while 1/3rd of our crews are going to DC to supplement DC EMS. We’re going to get crushed due to short staff.
I’ll be at the Glamis sand dunes burning fuel in my sand rail!
Fortunately I work from home, so I will be watching it....and scrolling through Facebook to watch all liberal tears flow.

I’m taking the day off. No way I’m going to work and listen to all the vitriol and hate-mongering I know my co-workers will be spreading. It’s our day, and I’m not going to be surrounded by negativity. Will probably watch FBN and indulge in an adult beverage or two. I cannot wait. Dawn approaches and soon the nightmare will be nothing more than a distant memory to be swept away by the blinding rays of a brightly shining, glorious sunny day.
I’m going to be right here.

Home from work approx. 9:30 am. Wash face and play “ball” with my babies ( Shelties ! ). Set up fireworks. Tune TV to acceptable news outlet, ‘prolly FOX BUSINESS. Enjoy several frosty adult beverages til time to light da fuses on the MORTAR rounds ( after the Trumpster says “ so help me God “ !! Enjoy a weeks vacation !
Take my wife to work, at the university, as usual, only with my MAGA Camo Hat.......just like I did on Election Day.
Steamed Alaskan crab legs, melted butter with lemon juice, boiled new potatoes with lemon and fresh dill, grilled prosciuto wrapped asparagus with a balsamic drizzle. To top it off, some Prairie Berry Red Ass Rhubarb wine..... a local favorite.
I’ll have to wear elastic waist pants to accommodate all my indulgence. But it will be worth it!
