After initially indicating that he’d be open to the idea of performing at Donald Trump’s upcoming inauguration ceremony this week, Garth Brooks is now explaining why he won’t be on hand for the swearing in of the 45th President of the United States.

To be fair, he was asked but his concert schedule does have him playing Cinci the 21st on through the entire next week.
If I were holding a concert on the 21st, I wouldn’t be so keen on a DC affair on the 19th or 20th.
There’s such a thing as a heartfelt tribute to the cowboy by imitation. But that’s different from being a fake one.

Bull!! This is a chance in a lifetime and he could’ve skedaddled out of DC as soon as his part was finished! FOR eight years they’ve jumped through hoops for the OVOMIT COUPLE FROM HELL....SO No excuse! Where there’s a way there’s a will!

You obviously have no idea the logistics involved in performances. Don’t let your hatred of the left blind you to reality. I would have said no, too, if I had his concert schedule. Many performers said no. Not all can say yes.
