Parisians have much more to fear than wolves.

According to one of Ronald Reagan’s favorite books, PETER THE GREAT, when St. Petersburg was under construction, wolves carried off adult males. It was quite a problem.

Wolves and Jihadists make France such a wonderful place to live.
Rampant PCism is dangerous to the health of those who allow it.

There are many valid reasons wolves were hunted to near extinction in some places.
The idea that wolves don’t eat humans is a crock. If wolves are hungry in the wild and come across humans they are going to eat them.

Yes indeed they will, especially European wolves.

30 to 100K serfs died building on that swamp land.
I think he killed his own son. Doctors operated on him, he had bladder problems, and released about 4 pounds of urine. So maybe wasn’t ruthless so much as perpetually pissed$off.

Wolves, coyotes and hybrids can live & flourish even in urban areas. If one was living close by, you probably would never see it. I've seen video of them walking within 10 feet of a person who never knew it was there.
Most wolves try to avoid people. I wouldn't want to come across one, but they don't usually set out to hunt people. I don't understand the paranoia about wolves here on FR. Deer are responsible for hundreds of deaths every year through car accidents while wolves have only two documented cases of killing people since 1900.
You are more endangered by the rats and vermin that wolves like to eat than the wolves.

Back in 2001 I saw a coyote in downtown Columbia, SC.

It’s another sign of a mini-ice age.
