SNL: Saturday Night live Susan B Anthony skit On NBC 1/14/2017 (Abortion is Murder)
(Excerpt) Read more at youtube.com ...
That seems like the main thrust of the parody, that suffragettes like Susan B. Anthony had worked hard to give women a voice only for these women to fill their minds with useless nonsense. Also, the modern women obviously had no concept of the fact Susan B Anthony knew that abortion was oppressive to women as well as killing children. I agree that it is shocking that SNL put this on.
Must be Harvey Fierstein in the back hat, 2nd row right.
Interesting that they ran this skit.
Andrea Dworkin was pretty whacked out, but she knew..
See tagline.
damn...
Those feminists abhored alcohol. Modern ones are drunken sloshes.
Your tagline is outdated.
We now understand that no man ever has sex with a woman who would have an abortion, because they are all so ugly. Therefore, all abortions are the result of women’s impregnating themselves with stolen sperm.
It’s true. I read it on Free Republic.
Putting on my amateur psychologist hat, might it be a defense mechanism? After all, no man who has been sexually free can know how many children he has fathered.
But I know that there are men out there who can't even make the mental connection between intercourse and fatherhood. It strikes them as a non sequitur, a total disconnect. They don't even spend one nanosecond thinking about contraception. Huh? Whatever. "That's her problem, not mine."
There are women more or less like that too, of course. If they get "unexpectedly" pregnant --- after having 300 million live sperm inserted into their genital tract --- they are shocked, then angry. "It's so unfair!"
Feminist novelist Marge Piercy said it's absurd that you can "catch" a baby as easily as catching a cold. Women were created with this design flaw, y'see. Achieving pregnancy ought to have required a far more elaborate and steadily intentional process, unconnected with the vagaries of mood and passion.
I haven't much to do with people like that.
One reads about them.
