It’s kinda funny. Back in the day, abortion was thought of as something that allowed men to use women sexually with less consequences.
I think our culture is dumber now.

Basically, feminism just succeeded in convincing women that being whores would be fun.

That is exactly what abortion is and always was. Stupid women fell for it and keep falling for it.

Do you get the sense that women were in short supply on their planet?
To: Morgana
For sure that is exactly what abortion is, a benefit for men. Any woman who finds out a man she is dating is pro-abortion (or its pseudonym “pro-choice”) should drop him immediately. Why women would think having major surgery in unregulated facilities by hack doctors is something to fight for is beyond me. A true feminist would be anti-abortion, as Susan B. Anthony was. Plus, abortion kills children.

Thank you for concisely defining what feminism has achieved.

Now that was one of the best SNL skits I've seen in a long time. A group of frivolous "modern" women summon Susan B. Anthony from the dead and are initially awestruck to see their "heroine" come back to life. But the more that Susan spoke, the less enamored and more annoyed they got with her. They just didn't want to hear her out-of-date homespun banality. Love the ending when they dashed out the door after Susan declared that abortion was evil!
I'm surprised SNL ran this skit.
To: Morgana
WTH?
Were they denigrating SBA? The satire totally works as a way of saying that the modern American women had allowed their easy prosperity to lull them into becoming vapid, vacuous, disrespectful nit-wits... but I can’t imagine SNL did that deliberately. Alternatively, they could be saying that SBA has nothing to say to modern Americans, but I can’t believe their usual pretenses about being intellectuals would allow them to make such an anti-intellectual statement.
