Speaking with the Washington Post over the weekend, President-elect Donald Trump promised that every American will have health insurance under his Obamacare replacement plan, which is set to be introduced in the openings months of his presidency.
Though he didnt provide the Post with many details about his plan, Trump said the plan will provide less expensive and much better coverage to Americans that Obamacare has in a much simplified form.
Were going to have insurance for everybody, Trump told the Post. There was a philosophy in some circles that if you cant pay for it, you dont get it. Thats not going to happen with us.
Its not going to be their plan, he added of people currently covered under Obamacare. Itll be another plan. But theyll be beautifully covered. I dont want single-payer. What I do want is to be able to take care of people.
Trump explained that in addition to providing coverage to every American that needs health insurance, another major part of his plan will be to target pharmaceutical companies, especially those with high drug prices.

Somewhere along the line in the past 5 years, I think I heard that everyone on Obamacare MUST re-enlist/sign up every year.
Can anyone here clarify this?
IF that is true-—then the ‘signups’ for each year are mostly RE-SIGNINGS from people who already had Obamacare.
That is blatant fraud & mis-information.
IF 5 millions signed up the first year-——
Then in the second year, Obama claimed that 7 million signed up-—AND 5 million of the 7 million were re-enlisting—than ONLY 2 million actually signed the second year, etc.
From the onset, Obama & Pelosi claimed that 10% of our population didn’t have health insurance. So they DESTROYED the system for the other 90%, and that ‘10%’ still haven’t been signed up.
A total fraud from the first jump.
True. That would have to change.
Yes, it would.
Calm down Eeyores.

How about repealing Bill Clinton’s Tax on Social security, since we paid tax on it already

Or if someone else is paying for it (its free) then people are less frugal with it and more wasteful.
“But America is doomed ... even supposed ‘conservatives’ on a supposedly ‘conservative’ forum have already surrendered their principles and come to love Big Brother.”
yep. There are very few conservatives in this country.
The healthy food God. DON'T CHA KNOW!
What a sad, unhappy life you must have with that attitude.
Our life is a wonderful gift from God. I try to celebrate His gift every day, with daily Mass and rosary. I offer Him my all, with humility and gratitude.
That's nice. Congratulations!

Amateur, internet-based psychoanalysis is always an exercise in abject failure.
I reiterate:
America is doomed ... even supposed 'conservatives' on a supposedly 'conservative' forum have already surrendered their principles and come to love Big Brother
That's just a fact. We have allowed our elected representatives to create a completely unsustainable, impossible welfare state and nanny state. And most of "us" love it. Even supposed conservatives on a supposedly conservative web forum object to dismantling it. So we're headed for an economic brick wall. We will crash into it, and it will destroy us. And those among us who have fallen in love with Big Brother will sit there dumbfounded and amazed ...
