A new Sunday Times interview between British Parliament member Michael Gove and our soon-to-be Supreme Leader Donald Trump offers much interesting insight into how Trump will use Twitter as president. When Gove asked about whether Trump would use the @POTUS handle, he offered up the following response:
@realDonaldTrump I think, Ill keep it . . . so Ive got 46 million people right now thats a lot, thats really a lot but 46 million including Facebook, Twitter and ya know, Instagram, so when you think that youre 46 million there, Id rather just let that build up and just keep it @realDonaldTrump, its working and the tweeting, I thought Id do less of it, but Im covered so dishonestly by the press so dishonestly that I can put out Twitter and its not 140, its now 280 I can go bing bing bing . . . and they put it on and as soon as I tweet it out this morning on television, Fox Donald Trump, we have breaking news. This word salad might leave one a bit stumped on our future presidents plan, but allow me to translate his points into something coherent:
@realDonaldTrump I think, Ill keep it. Donald Trump will continue tweeting from his personal account as president.
The tweeting, I thought Id do less of it, but Im covered so dishonestly by the press. Trump would tweet less if the press was nicer to him.
I can put out Twitter and its not 140, its now 280 I can go bing bing bing. This could mean a variety of things:

It’s nothing more than using the Bully Pulpit, with modern-day technology, what’s the big deal?
It’s about the diginity of the twitter handle! /sarc
The American media is TERRIBLY biased.
Very, very much in the tank, for democrats.
Every single station. Every newspaper. Everyone. Except Fox and Rush Limbaugh, and even Fox was for the establishment for a long time.
Every single station.
Trump needs to keep every channel of communication. Every single one, and rely on all of it to talk with Americans directly.
All the time.
To be precise, they are in the tank for the welfare state. They would support a Republican who wanted to expand it over a Democrat who wanted to shrink it. It is holy, and perfect, and without error - and its innate goodness must never, ever be questioned.
Mrs Submareener and I think his tweets are reassuring that he is still in the game.
As to what the 140 now 280 means, I think he will keep the @realdonaldtrump, plus the @POTUS one.
“...I can put out Twitter and its not 140, its now 280 I can go bing bing bing. This could mean a variety of things:
A. Donald Trump has a secret Twitter account that allows him to do 280 character tweets.
B. Trump will also use the @POTUS account, and thus a @realDonaldTrump tweet + @POTUS tweet = 280 characters....”
I live in SoCal and the local news here is 100 percent Democrat..even Fox 11 LA, they gush over Obama and roll their eyes at the mere mention of President TRUMP..a few days ago they covered those dyke women who are making “Pussy Hats” to protest Trump, the local media here treated these women like they are heroes, they are FREAKS
I’ve noticed that a lot of his tweets spill over into two tweets. I think that’s all it is.
I like the bing, bing, bing part.
“Its nothing more than using the Bully Pulpit, with modern-day technology, whats the big deal?”
A continuing new paradigm, rendering the traditional media to essentially be a mere nuisance.
Remember when the fakestream media used to deride presidents for not using social media? Now they are kinda wishing Trump had never signed up for Twitter.
Trump uses twitter for psychological warfare. His enemies don’t know if or when he will fire off a tweet that will just *&*% them up.
I think the bing bing bing refers to this:
Okay maybe not but it made me think of that. ;)
Okie Dokie.
Perfect! They thought FDR was a genius. But since it’s Trump, it’s wrong.
With us, it’s—what will make us abetter country.
With them, it’s—”If you aren’t on our side, you’re the enemy.”
Go Trump go. Tweet tweet tweet!
what is so refreshing about DJT is he treats the Presidency as just a job, it’s a big serious job, but just a job. He didn’t run for ego or for the prestige.
He ain’t gonna’ use #POTUS because DJT is bigger than that.
His model is Cincinatus
Trump would tweet less if the press was nicer to him.
...
Nope. Honest and nice are two different things.
Gizmodo is proving his point, the nasty liberals.
I believe they are in the tank for corrupt people just like themselves.
