A 2015 study by Microsoft revealed that the average person's attention span in this wild world of technology and social media is down to eight seconds which is less than that of a goldfish.

NBA games should be 15 minutes... This will give the players more time at the strip clubs.
While you’re at it, dump the 3-point shot too
Even my 42-year old nephew watches his phone and the TV at the same time.
Are fans complaining, or is the NBA as stupid as NBC?

As a wag said a number of years ago, it’s simple: Just give each team 100 points and play the last 2 minutes.
I only read half the title.
Reduce the number of timeouts.
I have never personally liked the pacing of basketball which always seems chaotic when compared to football which seems very chess like, which each move contemplated.
They should be 5 minutes long. Everyone starts at 85 points.
Yep. Shorten the players.
I’m in favor of size classes like with pro boxing.
Heavyweight, welterweight, flyweight, etc.
Lets have Giant, Big, Normal.
Giant: 6-8 and taller.
Big: 6-2 to 6-7
Normal: 6-1 and smaller
Might actually be fun.
"I voted for Hillary!"
While they’re at it, howz about shortening the season so it isn’t running from August 1st to July 31th
Will they also decrease the overpaid thugs and breeders contract pay accordingly?
+1

Many years ago I did some acid and went into a pet store. The goldfish and I hit it off and stared at each other for a long, long while. No problem with attention span.
How long does it take to bounce a ball, throw it between a few dudes, until one dude takes a shot, if he misses one dude from either team will recover, then starts bouncing a ball and throwing it to other dudes?

Yes, with no time outs and coaches have to have a hood over their heads and face away from the court.
I watch the last 5 minutes of NBA championship games.
Our adult children and spouses have basically adopted the above 5 minute system for NBA games.
It still takes too long with all of the timeouts and intentional fouls delaying the end.
If fouled in the last two minutes, teams should have the option of taking the ball out of bounds, in lieu of shooting free throws.
